I have been seeing these commercials for online sale outlets for old iphones. I went to their website and they claim they will give us 60 bucks for my husbands old broken iphone and even more for my intact one. I am just wondering if anyone has ever used one of these services? It kinda sounds too good to be true!

I sold my old one to Gazelle. You choose what condition it's in before you send it in, but often they pay you as if it's in better condition. My lock button didn't work on mine, but they paid as if it were in brand new condition. And it was easy!

Hubs and I sold 4 iPhones total to Gazelle ( 2 iPhone 3 & 2 iPhone 4). They paid us a lot for very old phones. All 4 were release day phones and we got around $500 I think. It was a good deal! We used to hold on to the phones in case we had one break but we switched providers and they wouldn't work anyways. So getting the extra money was awesome!

We used Gazelle to sell back 2 iPhone 4 in good condition after 2 years of use. It was really easy, and we got over $300 (total).

I also sold to Gazelle. I sold an iPhone 4 for $150... I think I got $170 for agreeing to receive an amazon gift card in lieu of cash.

Sounds like Gazelle is a great company to go with. I have only sold cell phones via ebay, but it always worked out pretty well!

Another vote for Gazelle! It's so easy, they send you a box and prepaid label to use and then you get a check about a week later.

I've sold mine on Craig's List. I sold a 2 year old 3GS for $200 which funded my upgrade fee to a 4S.

I sold my old iphone 3g on Ebay, I think I got close to $150. Does Gazelle take broken iphones? I have an iphone4 that has a cracked screen, I'm using my husbands old 3gs and it's so so slow! I can't trade in my broken one for a new one either..
