I'm on CD 43, still no AF, all tests BFN. My DH and I BD'd on CD9 (and not since, he had back surgery, so off-limits for a few months) so while it's not impossible for me to be pregnant, I just don't feel like I am. I called my doctor's office to see how long this could continue before I should be worried/go in for appointment and they said I should just continue to take my prenatals and if nothing has changed in the next 2 weeks to come in so they could do a blood test to either confirm or rule out pregnancy. Has this happened to anyone else? My doctor didn't seem concerned about having such a long cycle. I guess I just want to see if anyone else has been in this situation. I don't like to wait. I want to know, one way or the other.

What are your other cycles like? Do you know when you usually O?

@mrs. 64: Typically 31 day cycles. I don't really know when I O. Haven't done OPK's or temping yet. Although after DH is cleared from his surgery, I'll probably start since it's frustrating not knowing what's going on with cycle. I did get wet/EWCM around CD 19-21 though. ???

Did you just get off birth control or have a m/c or anything recently that could be causing a longer than normal cycle?

Have you taken a pregnancy test? Seems like that would be the most logical first step so that you can at least rule it out if that's not what is going on.

It is totally possible it is just a very wonky cycle. Most women get these every now and then. You could have O'd late due to stress, diet or exercise changes, lack of sleep, ectectect. I suggest using an HPT once a week until you either get a BFP, AF or you go in to the doctor. I hope you get answers soon!

@LindsayInNY: No abnormal stress, this was a 'planned' surgery and DH is an easy patient. I appreciate the help, I haven't been able to come up with any logical explanation other than my body just does what it wants! Lol
@wonderstruck: Yes - I've taken several pregnancy tests, one the day I expected AF and another one yesterday and both were negative. -
I have very long cycles some times, but my cycles have literally never been normal. If yours normally are, that seems weirder.

This literally just happened to me. AF just never showed up. BFN every time we tested and finally I went to get blood test. Negative! My cycle ended up being I believe like 52 days long. Just a super long period. Could be due to stress, exercise, etc.
