Does it worry you?
I have one, it is a congenital, inherited defect that they would have found during my mom's pregnancy if they had done ultrasounds back then. Thankfully our daughter did not inherit it. Apparently it is twice as common in men as in women (just my luck!) I just hope that I get to enjoy seeing our daughter get settled in life as an adult before it starts causing me a problem.
Having kids really changes your perspective on life!!!

My Dad has/had one. He got it fixed after it started causing problems. Neither my sister nor me inherited it.
While it did cause problems for him, it was an easy fix once we determined the problem! Oddly enough, they didn't know he had it until it caused a problem.
I hope that yours never causes any issues!

My Goddaughter was born with one, she actually just had her 4 year appointment today and everything was good to go. She had surgery and was in NICU for several days before being discharged from the hosptial. Her cousin has the same thing, but hers was much worse as they sent her home without knowing she had it, it got worse in the 5 days she was home.
Her mom is pregnant again and they did a fetal echo today at 21 weeks and will do another one at 36 weeks, as well was one within the first 24 hours of life.
