We're looking for one to put in Wagon Jr.'s room for overnight guests! We'd love a queen sized one since that's the size linens we have. Also one that would look good in a kid's room. His walls are beige and his decor is baseball themed but simple. Navy, red, and white.

We had one in my son's room, it was a fold down one similar to the current Murbo.

I had the cheapie one (also similar to the Murbo). For a long time I had it as my main couch and HATED IT because it was not the most comfortable, but when I transitioned it into the guest room, was really glad for it. And if you're not on it constantly, it wasn't that uncomfortable. I had white, and washing/bleaching the cover was a breeze: http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/S89874362/#/S79874310

@jillybean218: Yes! I agree that it's not comfortable as a sofa, it's too deep and I always needed pillows behind me, but once it's folded down, it's great to sleep on .

You can customize the cover and mattress. We bought the nicest mattress back in the day and ended up using it as M's floor bed.
Then we bought the cheapest mattress and took the futon frame + new mattress down to DH's office.
We're still using cheap mattress+frame at our new place and it's good for the kids to roll around on.

I had one of these in full size. Two guests slept on it and said they were comfy enough for a temporary stay. I liked that it was easy to set up and the didn't have pillows and cushions to store when the bed was extended. As a sofa it was fine. I added decorative pillows. The slip covers come in a bunch of colors.

We have the Lycksele http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/S69839987/ and it is awesome. It's a smaller footprint (though it sticks out from the wall a little more, width was more of a concern for us). It fits queen size linens and is comfortable to sleep on and easy to fold/unfold.
Plus one of the cover options is a navy color that is pretty in person and sounds like it goes with your room colors!
