I'm wondering if the battery life is much better than the 5's? Getting the iPhone 5 when it came out two years ago was my first experience with an iPhone and while I love the phone itself, I hate the battery life. It is the worst of any phone I've ever owned. Just wondering if the 6 is much better in that regard.

I have an iPhone 6, upgraded from an old iphone 4. My battery does seem to drain pretty quickly but I also use it a ton, and I know I don't have the best settings to preserve battery life. It is probably about the same as my 4, but is so so much faster.

I have the 6--but traded in my iPhone 4 so I never had the 5. But FWIW, the battery life is so much better than the 4. I've been on my phone a lot today. Starting at 630 am. It's 8 pm and I have 57% right now.
ETA: I primarily use my internet and Instagram. Don't really have many more apps but I use what I do have often.

I don't have too much trouble battery wise unless my toddler runs a ton of apps on my phone. I love my iPhone 6.

I have the 6 plus and the battery is great so far. But, I have had tons of network/connectivity issues (I think this is a combo of living in a place with bad coverage and recent ios bugs), so I don't use it as much as I might be.
Also, if you bought the iphone 5 two years ago, there is a good chance that you got a defective battery. It is a known issue. I had an iphone with that issue and it was so bad. If you want to keep your 5, they will replace the battery for free. You can find out your eligibility here:

I had a 5 and upgraded to the 6. The battery life is amazing. I woke up at 2am last night and watched netflix, and other shows on the CW app, until 630amish...and my battery was still at over 50%

Battery life is the best on any phone I've had. Also recharges quickly too! Love the 6!

It's been bad ever since I got it, too! I should have brought it in way sooner.. I just checked DH's and his is eligible though - so weird since we got ours at the exact same time! @catlady: Thank you for that! I looked up mine, and it is a defective battery. I wish I would've known this sooner. We're looking at trading in for a 6 for Christmas, so at this point it doesn't do me too much good.

Battery life is good as long as you don't have wallpaper/background light on the highest setting.
I'm happy with my 6.
