Just like the title says, I'm looking for a hotel for one night in Des Moines. We are going to take LO to the state fair and decided to stay overnight. Looking for clean, possibly a pool/hot tub, decently priced family friendly hotel

Me!! We are staying at one right by the fair this weekend before we move into our new house. I'd guess it's booked for the fair though. Check out the ramada off Merle hay road it has a cool indoor water park. I'd book fast though!

We stayed at this historic hotel (now owned/renovated by Marriott) in 2001 and loved it. Beautiful building and great location. I'd love to go back.

Did you call the hotel to double check? Ours had rooms that weren't online FwIW

We're going to the fair too! But we stay with in laws.
