I know we've talked about Vasectomies, but anyone considering getting their tubes tied?

No way. A co-worker went through this and she was not a happy camper through the process.

No. It's too invasive. Maybe if they already had me open after a caesarean, but otherwise nope. A vasectomy is a much less taxing procedure.

I will after our second! I know if for some reason DH and I split up U I would never want more than 2 so I don't have an issue with it!

Once we decide for sure, I've been thinking about getting the Essure sterilization. It's cheaper than other female sterilization procedures and it's non-invasive and really easy recovery. DH is for sure never getting a vasectomy, so anything permanent would be up to me.

He is willing to get a vasectomy and I would be willing to get my tubes tied. I like what my mom did more though. She had my twin sisters last and before she went in for her C-section she had been talking to the Dr. about how when he takes the babies out, that the baby maker with them! And he did. Granted she had really bad endo and so the fact that she even had 3 kids was shocking enough. She couldn't handle anymore intense endo caused cramps so he agreed. She has been period free and risk of pregnancy free since she was 24!

my husband is willing to get a vasectomy. even though i'm having a csection with any and all future children, we are still having him get snipped. my mom got her tubes tied after my brother and she said every period after that was so heavy, she needed both a pad and tampon...i don't want the same! haha

I have a friend who did it because they were already in there for the csection.
Is actually consider the more invasive surgery.... With that time of the month comes massive migraines and I'm so done with that. But I feel like by the time I'm done having kids I might as well just wait for nature to take care of that one, ill be old anyway.

Nope. Too invasive for me. I'll just use an IUD until I don't need and protection any more.
