My only hesitation is there is no zip closure and since it's coming all the way from France shipping is $$$ and returns are not easy....

I broke down and just bought one!! It really had everything I was looking for in a bag.....I'll report back and let you all know how I like it! It could take a couple weeks to get here though since she makes each of them to order...

@birdofafeather: Awwww! Yeah they are pricey, mostly because of the shipping to US. I rationalized it by the fact that a sole entrepreneur is making it and the fact that the inside pockets is exactly what I am looking for, and how they don't look like a diaper bag!
ETA: I searched and found your thread about this! I got #2! I love the crossbody aspect and the stripes and I think the leather bottom makes it more durable/classy/different. There is a blog that reviewed the bag I got (she got the same one but in a different leather color) and I asked her if the strap was comfortable and she said it didn't bother her at all!

Hi ladies! Finally I'm getting around to reviewing this bag!
I ordered the 10 pocket crossbody bag and customized it by adding an 11th zippered pocket. The total (including shipping) ended up being $207. The shipping is what really made it expensive IMO, but I get it, it's coming all the way from France! So from the time I ordered it, it took roughly 4 weeks before I got a "it's shipped!" notification. But once it shipped, it was actually very fast. I got it in 4 days (I'm in CA). This made me glad I didn't upgrade to express shipping!
Now the bag itself, I really like it! The workmanship is truly exceptional (like I'm the anal kind of person who will scrutinize the seams and make sure they are straight, etc). The bag is exactly how it's represented in her etsy listing!
The material is very durable and the leather accents are gorgeous. Very high quality. I love how the bag can stand up on its own with nothing inside! The key fob attachment is a beautiful touch, I keep my keys and my hand sanitizer clipped on it.
The closure of the bag is just a snap, but honestly I haven't found any issues with this. If the bag tips over and it's snapped closed, nothing falls out. Even if the bag is open, the way the opening is angled really keeps everything in!
At first I was worried that the crossbody strap would be uncomfortable if I had tons of stuff in the bag, but I have not found it to be so! I have the strap adjusted to the shortest setting (I'm petite, 5"3) and it's perfect to wear crossbody! I do wish that there was a little loop to hold the excess strap to the main strap. I've solved the problem by using a rubberband. When I am using the stroller, the strap does go over the handles and then it's hands free!
I've attached some pictures of the bag and all the stuff I carry in it! I have a 15-almost-16-month-old and I carry:
A changing pad
3-4 diapers
Wipes
Sunglasses (for the both of us)
Snacks
Straw cup
My wallet/wristlets
A notebook/pen
LO's dolly and a small book
Lip balm, mints, keys, hand sanitizer
The interior pockets are very useful and help keep the interior nice and tidy. The diapers will fit into one of the pockets. I keep the changing pad, wipes, and my wallet in the zippered pocket because it's the right shape/big. Seems to work out well that way!
I am pleased with my purchase, I've gotten lots of compliments on it. I like how it doesn't look like a diaper bag. And I like supporting a small business.

@Ginabean3: beautiful!! I had an IKA bag on my baby registry but didn't get it... I nearly bought it since I didn't have a diaper bag but couldn't stomach the price after shipping. This was 2+ years ago - so I wonder if she raised her prices cause the bag was $89 back then and shipping was about $40 I think??
Gorgeous bag and totally makes me want one (not as a diaper bag - just for me!!)

You should totally treat yourself to one in the future though. You deserve it! It would make a great travel bag too!

I also have the Ika bag and I love mine. I'm not sure how well it will do with 2 kids, but until baby #2 pops out, it's the perfect size for me and my toddler.

I'm loving these! I have two questions. How heavy is it, and do you think it would work for two kids? If it makes a difference, one would be an almost potty trained toddler and the other a newborn, so the toddler doesn't really need anything. And I'm a minimalist about carrying things in the diaper bag.

@Ginabean3: how is your bag hlosing up? I am thinking about getting a smaller bag and have been eying this one. I would love to hear how it is a year later. I'm looking at the same options as yours, but cannot decide if I would want the double handles or the cross body style.

@anbanan15: it's still in perfect condition!!!!!! However I'm pregnant with #2 now and thinking about getting a backpack diaper bag...LO #1 is so active and I plan on wearing #2 (due next month) and I think a backpack style is more conducive to that!!!
But my ikabag still looks good! A little dirty on the side but the seams and leather and structure of the whole thing is still perfect!

@Weagle: ah! I don't think I ever responded to this, I'm sorry! I think it would work with two kids especially if you are a minimalist. The only thing is if you have a newborn and plan on wearing the baby I think it might be too unwieldy. I'm planning on switching to a backpack diaper bag once #2 is born!

@Ginabean3: Thanks! I'm expecting no. 3 and currently use a Danzo Weekender. I hardly take anything around right now (18 mo and 4 yrs), so the Danzo has been getting big. I have a Danzo Soho I will be switching to once baby arrives (it was a replacement for an issue with my weekender, but they let me keep both bags and I have still been using my weekender), which is still a huge bag, so I feel like a need an option of something smaller, but also do not want it to scream diaper bag! I do babywear though, but I don't think j would be a fan of the backpack style for myself
