Yes, DH and I reference it all the time. A friend of ours has some art in a coffeeshop and we want to send him the sketch about "bad coffee house art consultants." We also say "cacao!" All the time. I've never been to the PNW but that show reminds me so much of living in Athens, GA.
Mr. Bee, if you like Portlandia you should try "Peep Show" or "That Mitchell and Webb Look"

That's where we live! Moved here from NYC in 2012. When portlandia came out I was impressed because they said everything about Portland that I had been saying since 2007.
