@chopsuey: $99 dollars sounds good, but I'm betting the hardware specs are going to be lacking at that price point.

I heard rumors they were going to create a cheaper iphone to compete with other cheaper phones.
If someone really can't afford the $200 price tag for the iphone5 before, they could really consider it now.
Are they going to make the older iphone4 and 4S even cheaper? I think they were going for $100 and $50 before this new version was created. Will iphone4 be $25 or something?
I can't watch it but there were rumors they were going to create iphones that come in different colors.
I'm waiting for their ipad annoucement which will probably come next month or the month after.

Didn't think about this. I may have to wait to get it until there are some good cases out there that can incorporate an open home button for the finger print scan. All the otterbox/lifeproof cases cover that up!

@chopsuey: Hopefully it's release will drop the upgrade price pretty significantly for the 4s!... I need up upgrade but have no desire to upgrade to a $300+ phone. lol

I can't wait to upgrade! I have no idea when I can though. I'll probably go for a 5 instead of 5s to save some money. It'll still be an upgrade since I have a 4.
