I have Pottery Barn reward dollars to use and was going to get DD an Anywhere chair for Christmas. I don't know what size to get. Will she outgrow the First version quickly? She's 4 months old right now - will be 6 months at Christmas. Is the regular size one better? I don't want to get that if she won't be able to use it for a while though.

We have the regular size and it is bigger than I expected. I can actually sit in it. She still has tons of room to grow and she is a small to averaged sized 2 year old. I sort of wish we got the smaller one but then again, our living room is very small. I think it depends how much space you have.
Edited to add: I haven't actually seen the smaller one so I can't comment on how fast they would grow out of it. We've had the regular sized one since my LO was about 14 months and she's used it since then.

Ds is a big toddler and can still sit and fits in the first anywhere chair but the regular size is much more suitable. The first size is good for the first year though. Attached a photo for size comparison.

I would just get the bigger one. We got our LO the big one when she was about 11 months and she did fine with it. Seems silly to buy the smaller one just to have to buy the big one later.

i would go with the bigger one because she probably will not use it as much until she is older anyway. and get a lot more use out of the bigger one.

@LindsayInNY: I'd just but the bigger one! We were gifted the first and ended up buying two regular size ones for both boys. Ds2 is using the small one now and toddler (almost 3) fits in it but he's more comfortable in the bigger one!

We have whatever the largest size is and adults can definitely fit in it but we figure he will have it for many years. The little one is so small they look like they are growing out of it after a year.

Got the big one at 10 months and LO climbed in and out then. She's 3 now and is still going strong.
