@mrskansas: about 20 minutes later and it looks the same. Sometimes I see a line and half a second later it's gone. I don't think I understood "line eye" until this very moment.

@knittylady: LOL! Car is back home now. I'll go out and get FRERs and Wal-Mart cheapies at some point tonight, but I'm not going to test again until tomorrow.
And I've already given myself permission to call in sick tomorrow whatever the result.

@dominobee: Umm I totally see something. Anxiously awaiting your result!! FWIW I have been getting shitty FRER results so far and darker lines in the Wal Mart cheapies. I wonder if there is a quality issue? This is Thursday, yesterday and today.

Hi ladies! I didn't think I'd be joining you this month but it looks like I may be ovulating earlier than I expected and I'll be able to POAS in April instead of May. We just started TTC baby #3 and we decided to try the Shettles method to conceive a girl after having two boys (4 and 18 months). It will be fun to see if itworks, or if we end up with another precious baby boy. Either way, we'll be thrilled, but thought we might as well give it a shot.
Cycle Day: 14
TTC Cycle: 1
Ovulation Date: possibly 4/18
POAS Date: 4/29 (I've gotten my other BFPs at 10 dpo, so I'll start testing then)
Baby #: 3
What's up this month:Shettles suggests having sex up until 4 days before ovulation. I've been taking OPKs and today's looked close to positive, so I'm expecting to get a positive either tomorrow or Tuesday. We BDd last night, so we probably won't try again. So strange to not be BDing when trying to get pregnant!
For Fun: Two things I associate with April are flowers and baseball, so let's do a two-fer! Favorite baseball team and/or flower. Atlanta Braves! And I love tulips and hydrangeas

@jodyblair: Yay for a third!! We really thought we were two and through but life changes and now it turns out we can and want a third. But I just can't handle the stress of ttc when it takes a long time so probably if nothing within the year we will just start preventing again. But we'll see, maybe I have more patience than I think I do.

@2littlepumpkins: Thank you! We've always wanted a third, especially after seeing how close our two boys are becoming with one another. It's the sweetest thing. We were incredibly lucky to conceive both of them the first month we TTC and I'm already impatient thinking about it potentially taking longer this time since we're trying for a girl. It's so ridiculous to think that way because I know how unusual that is. Reading everyone's stories on these threads about long TTC journeys breaks my heart for all you ladies who have been trying for so long. You're all so strong! TTC makes even the most sane person crazy

@jodyblair: Well thankfully our first was on the first try, so we really don't know whether to expect six months or a year or quick. We are just trying not to worry about it and if it happens it happens..but don't hold me to that, lol. I am so curious to see if this shettles thing works, I don't really know anyone who at least openly has tried it! I know my mom believes in some kind of timing and used that to get a boy though!

@2littlepumpkins: I've heard people who swear by it and I've also read articles that totally disprove it, so we'll see! At the very least, it can't hurt
