Best joke pulled on me and DH...
My step daughter (10 at the time) taped the latches in the freezer and fridge down, so that when we opened the doors in the morning we thought it was broke. (She was a few days early too so we didn't even think April Fools!)
DH actually bought new bulbs and was super close to buying an entire new fridge!

When I was 11 or 12 my parents told me and my brother they had decided to give us $50 each for being good kids. They let us think about the money all day before saying April Fools.
In the office today IT put up signs saying our printers are now voice activated and we should loudly say the commands like "print" and "scan." I hope I catch someone trying it.

I used to have a fake cockroach as a kid. Every April Fools Day, I'd put it somewhere where I knew my mom would see it. I did it for like 5 straight years and she would scream every single time.

When we were still dating we changed our Facebook status on the 31st to Married. We had my best friend really going. We were away at the time on a Spring break vacation, so it was a believable prank that we'd eloped, lol

I've really gullible (or trusting, which sounds better), so I hate April Fools! Someone always gets me. The fake pregnancy announcements really piss me off, too. I'm an April Fools grump!

My husband is so gullible, this year he was determined to not fall for anything but he did. My sister always put a rubberband on the faucet so it would shoot water when my mom turned it on. I need to think of some good ideas to use with my husband!!

I fell for a fake fb pregnancy announcement one year. It was believable because the couple told us they might start trying soon about 6 months prior to the announcement. I wrote them a long congratulatory email and was super embarrassed when they wrote back that it was a joke!

Powerball drawing was on April fools a few years ago. I called my husband and told him we didn't win powerball but we matched 4 numbers and won $10,000. When I said April Fools he hung up the phone and wouldn't speak to me he was so mad!!

I work with the one of the owner's wives and she said her husband has candy on his desk in his office and noticed someone has been eating it so he put in the really gross flavored Jelly Belly's today to catch whoever was eating his candy.

I'm not a fan of the fake pregnancy/engagement announcements either. I feel like it's been done. I can't believe Gwen stefani tried it this year! The year we were expecting our 2nd, dh decided to troll and posted that we were expecting again, purposely on April 1. Some thought he was playing an April fools joke, some congratulated and some knew already and called him out for trolling

I teach 1st grade and I bring in a plate covered in tinfoil and tell them I made them my special brownies
At lunch I serve them ....,,they are cut out brown letter Es lol
Of course I also have real brownies for them after or else that would be mean but they then wrap up their "Brown E" to take home and trick mom and dad they think it is great!!!!!!

DD1 (3) told DH she pooped in her car seat a while ago and he got super upset and pulled over and she said "i'm just joking!" so this morning, he was on shift, and i texted him, "oh man, you're so lucky you weren't here this morning, so gross!" and filmed DD1 through her bedroom door saying she pooped her bed and then showing him a spot on the bed as she said, i pooped. can you clean it up? and then she said happy april fool's (after lots of prompting from me). i thought it was pretty obviously a joke, but DH still texted back, wait, did she really go? ahhahaha!

My students (9-10 year olds) got me! A student asked to use the bathroom and went and wet her face while the others prepared a red ink stained tissue. She slammed the door on the way in and started screaming, another ran to her with the (prepared) tissue in the regular box and she started sobbing that she'd slammed her finger in the door. I was freaking out!
