@septca: You are doing for the good of the community!
@LindsayInNY: Have fun on your vacation. Such a roller coaster this cycle!
@bhbee: I'm ever the optimist (for other people), could your AF been implantation bleeding? Was it lighter than your past AF? I read that a lot of women mistake implantation bleeding for AF and thus don't know they are KU till later.
I took two wondfo tests this morning... totally stark white. So I'm going to skip a day and take another one on Saturday. I'm not going to use my last FRER till I see something super squinty on the wondfo or if AF doesn't come by next week.
Usually it's pretty much 2 weeks after ovulation so I do expect it to show up in the next 2 days or so. Again I hope it shows up so I can have a fresh start.
Confession - when my AF was late last month I took my then last FRER one morning only to discovered after I peed that AF came... such a waste!!

@Raindrop: thank you for the optimism! I'm pretty sure it wasn't implantation bleeding, it was lighter but that was from the meds which thinned my lining. I'll take an HPT tomorrow to be sure but I'm guessing it's just a weird cycle.
also - I've totally tested and then seen AF 2 seconds later . . . I am now careful to wipe first and check!

@LindsayInNY: Wtf is up with your chart!? I have no advice, but hugs!!
I posted on the IF thread that I did in fact have a uti (yeah, I shouldn't have been stubborn and waited to go in...). BUT I'm 4 days into my antibiotic treatment and I'm spotting pretty heavily (CD17, should be O'ing this weekend). I've consulted dr. google and it appears this can be normal? I've been on antibiotics before (never this kind), and I never had any spotting issues. Anyone else ever experience this??
Oh, ps, and I HATE bd while I'm treating a uti so this cycle is pretty solidly OUT. Wah!

@Raindrop: Ahh what a waste of a test, I'm sorry! I've done that before, but w/ a wondfo. I'd hate to waste an expensive test!

@bhbee: @doxielove: Thanks ladies I feel less dumb about that. Though I did google it and other people on the interwebs said it has happened to them This is what I do when I feel dumb about something I google it to see if other people did it! Hehe.

@Raindrop: there are way worse things . . . I know many of us have tested during/right after AF because "you just never know" . . . TTC makes us all crazy!!
bananas / 9229 posts
@doxielove: I know!!! I've never had this messed up of a chart. And I've never heard of stress making O early, it usually delays it! There's no reason for this whatever is happening on CD24! Your spotting is odd too... I've never had that happen with antibiotics? Is it red?
persimmon / 1388 posts
@bhbee: Um, guilty! I've definitely tested during/after AF "just in case."
@LindsayInNY: Yesterday it was bright red. Today it's more brown. Not sure what to think. I didn't want to use opk's this cycle but I may break them out and start testing tonight.

@LindsayInNY: PS - I'm jealous of your vaca - I hope you have a blast!!!!

@doxielove: I'm going to keep temping and see what that does and if this CM stuff changes color... I'm basically anticipating AF arriving at home point and dealing with this brown stuff in the meantime (which sucks). Honestly, we have enough issues, why do our cycles need to be doing this too?!

Roll me over people because I'm done. AF showed up just now. Though I don't think I will POAS in May. If my cycle stays this long or gets longer probably won't POAS till June.
Here are somethings to make me feel better
- At least not having an Xmas baby and we don't have to change our plans of traveling during Xmas at all. Though we would have totally been okay changing them for a baby.
- The December 2014 boards is huge and slightly intimidating, there is something definitely in the water in the boards this month! But it does look like a lot of fun.
- At least I have a fresh start and not playing the waiting game!
We aren't allowed to bring cell phones at work... is it weird that I want to leave work to update my FF app on my phone? Haha.

@Raindrop: so sorry about AF
What?!? No cellphones at work?? I would die.

I'm seriously considering POAS right now. How long are you supposed to hold your pee? It's been 2.5 hours...
grapefruit / 4731 posts
@mrs. tictactoe: I have no idea! I heard the best pee is over night! But 2.5 hours is long time too... I would totally pee on it. Haha.

@Raindrop: @septca: I did it and BFN. I'll try again tomorrow. FMU is usually best for me, I was just feeling lucky

@Raindrop: i'm so sorry. SO SORRY:( *HUGS*
@mrs. tictactoe: I personally think you should poas every 2.5h until there is a 2nd line, da**it!

Hey ladies! My life has been insane this week.
I'm waiting to O this cycle. Do you all still temp during AF? I've been lazy about it this week, but I'm back at it again on CD8.
I also orders Babi OPKs, I am wary of the quality of wandfos after everyone seems to be having trouble with lately.
blogger / pomegranate / 3201 posts
@Crystal: I do not temp during AF, I just wait until it's over. I use cheap opks and I think they are ok, but not perfect. If you really want a clear answer, use the wondfos and a digital to confirm. I'm sorry you've had a crazy week!

@mrs. tictactoe: thanks! I might try digitals next month.
FX for you in the morning!!!!

@FaithFertility: I've been better.. I have really strong food aversions and get nauseous pretty much all day long.. little things can set me off, like perfume of a co-worker, the printer, the fridge, peoples food, etc.. I got to see my little bean on tuesday. It was so awesome seeing his little heartbeat. How are you doing????

So. I don't really know how to say this. I'm half terrified, half in disbelief... and very excited. But my early testing landed me with a this morning. Faint line on a Sure Predict strip with FMU, confirmed by a light but definite + on a FRER with SMU. I'm 8 DPO, which is insanely early. But the last few days I have felt really *off* - AF-like cramping, nausea, headaches... completely different symptoms than I had with my first BFP, but odd nonetheless, so I decided to keep going with my plan of ED testing.
I am so extremely grateful for the friends, warm support, and good laughs I have found on this thread. I will be sticking around, cheering you on. I wish each of you the very best this month and beyond. ((hugs))

@septca: That is just WONDERFUL news!!! I saw your post that you'll cheerlead on the May POAS board and wondered why you wouldn't be POASing! This is the BEST possible reason! Congrats mama!

@septca: Ahh! too excited to stand it!!! The stickiest of baby dust and a happy healthy 9 months to you. Is this maybe a new year baby?

@Crystal: When I used that wondfo a few weeks ago ... I was totally Oing! I didn't believe it and now I'm kicking myself we only BDed once. I guess wondfo seem to work for me. Good luck! I'm going to start temping this cycle and I'm waiting till after AF.
@mrs. tictactoe: BOOOOOOO. *hugs* Not over till AF shows!
@septca: YAY!!! Congrats!! Definitely something in the water in the boards!
GOLD / pomegranate / 3688 posts
@Crystal: FWIW, I have always had really good luck with Wondfo OPKs. It's the HPTs that are incredibly annoying.
