I got another positive OPK this morning so the consensus is that my surge was picked up yesterday as well. We bd'd last night & immediately after I realized I forgot the Pre-seed. I've just messaged my doctor about trying to set up the IUI tonight, but he's at a conference so it will be done by the on call doctor--if we all connect before then. I'm sorry AF is toying with you! I can def relate to actually WANTING her to show up so you can get the show on the road!

So after e-mailing with my OB I bought a bunch of ovulation tests from amazon and a thermometer to try to track my ovulation.
If you didn't read my other thread... longer and longer period lengths... may be due to stress but OB thinks I might be not ovulating.
I'm in the middle of this cycle now but it sounds like I might not be ovulating and my OB wants to confirm that before she sees me. Very interesting. So I might be already out!

Hey ladies! I've missed you the past few days- work got the best of me.
Had another day of positive OPKs, but no temp rise yet. We are day 7 of BDing, hopefully I O soon! At least I know we'll have great timing if we can keep up the schedule.
I gotta catch up on the thread!

@Raindrop: Very strange. I hope you can get to the bottom of things! I started temping and using OPKs after my second cycle following stopping birth control lasted 50 days.
While I haven't since had any more anovulatory cycles, temping and OPKs have been such a big help in helping me to understand my body better and pinpointing where things are wrong. Our bodies are such amazing, complex machines.

@Crystal: Gah. I have no good answer for you. This is my 18th cycle tracking O, so after a while I just kind of developed a system for determining O. I temped for the first 6 months, do that information helped, but mostly I look at OPKs, CM, and my pain to determine which day to use (knowing that if I'm a day off it doesn't actually matter). I tend to O the day after my first + OPK with FMU. Sometimes FF gives me an O day I agree with, sometimes I have to enter it manually.

I probably totally have line eye.. But I see a very second faint line on my HPT. I will retest tomorrow.. I had already peed and was like wtf let's test since I have like 20 test but I got stage fright and peed very lightly.

@littlek: it only takes a few drops. I always had good luck with afternoon testing with a 3 hour hold.

@Raindrop: I had similar issues with my cycle post-BC as @RonniLeigh: ... My first cycle off was 40ish days, second cycle was 60ish day. The second cycle was when I started temping/charting and using OPKs to be sure I was Oing. Since then my cycles have been mostly regular.
