@Adira: That's true... But then again your body has changed so much since #1 that I wouldn't expect it to be the same! So... you are not allowed to be pessimistic!

@Adira: hey the cycle that I was pregnant with T I was convinced I was not pregnant! How many dpo are you?
GOLD / squash / 13576 posts
@Adira: I was convinced I was out last cycle and that was the one I got a BFP. You never know...
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@winniebee: I'm 8 DPO. Only 3 more days until AF MIGHT arrive, and 6 before AF is officially late... ugh
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@littlek: That's encouraging! I'm just going to keep my fingers crossed, though it's hard to stay optimistic sometimes!

@Adira: Aw, chin up girl! Also for what it's worth (in addition to what snowjewelz said), with my 2 BFP's I had tons of watery CM, didn't orgasm during/after BD, and didn't have implantation cramping! And they both happened 1-2 months off BCP when I thought my body was still regulating too. All cycles are different! My BFP's were 2 cycles in a row and I had different symptoms both times!
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@Kbee: Oh wow! Thanks for sharing your experience! Knowing you also experienced watery CM is VERY encouraging to me! I didn't have any with my first BFP, so seeing it this cycle made me think AF was coming (since I had some last cycle too right before AF showed up). Keeping my fingers crossed!!!

@Adira: aww honey I am so sorry. I know how you feel. I hope you are wrong. As snowjewelz said our bodies change a lot after we have a baby.
In good news over here I finally got my first decent nights sleep last night and my son only nursed for 20 mins before bed and 10 this morning. I thought he would have a caniption but so far he has been okay. I think it may have helped that I got him to eat a lot of food yesterday.

Your game plan this cycle: lost my BBT thermometer so haven't really been temping-- will probably use the OPK tests tonight.

@Lady Hibiscus: Thank you and welcome! You are POAS twins with Whenoceansrise & Tam!
O is right around the corner for you! So exciting

@Adira: I know exactly how you feel... Pretty sure O was yesterday and BD didn't work out... so now Im praying that the BD day prior will be enough. Sigh. Why is TTC such a mindf*ck. Yesterday I was absolutely certain this was my cycle, this morning I'm fairly certain I'm out. Hang in there though... we can cross our fingers and toes together for extra toe finger crossage.

@MrsMccarthy:
@Brawly: I hear you about TTC! One day you think you're in it and the next, you're convinced you're out! I was feeling so good just a few days ago and now I'm like "Bleh, just give me AF so I can start over."

@Brawly: @Adira: It is impossible to keep emotions in check when you can not possibly feel neutral about the outcome.

@Adira: I'm also not feeling positive this morning. I hope we're both wrong!
I'm 13 DPO today, and AF is due tomorrow. I'm having light brown spotting this morning, which is unusual compared to past cycles because it's always been pink... but it's spotting nonetheless. So yeah, I'm bummed and expecting to be out for April

@keepcalmcarrie: I'm crossing my fingers that its late implantation spotting.

@Brawly: FX for you darling! Many people conceive missing O @keepcalmcarrie: I hope you are wrong!!! Maybe baby implanted a little late.

@snowjewelz: Yeah, I was terrified and I am so happy I won't happen upon someone else's CM here.

How do you all feel about having a Christmas baby? I am on the fence, it would be great to have a baby at any time and the idea of having a LO at Christmas is so sweet but being in the hospital during Christmas doesn't sound super awesome.
This is my first month of TTC after being on BCP for a few months, so I was going to follow the SMEP method to get to know my cycle and hopefully get PG even sooner. I mentioned this on another thread but we had a heart to heart last night. He wants our first couple cycles to be more breezy and then do SMEP if I am not pregnant after that. So...our new plan for the next two months is to not obsess over this (I will try) and see if we get a the good ole fashioned way. It means a lot to DH, so I will compromise.

@simplyfelicity: My LO's bday is 12/31, not quite Christmas but so close. And it has worked out really great so far. I just want to be sure to celebrate both Christmas and Birthday's seperatly, so she feels special. If I were to get a BFP this cycle I would have EDD of 12/22. So we would have special party Christmas week at our house!

slightly darker line on OPK last night- O is coming y'all! We've been BDing every day this week so let's just say my hopes are really high this cycle!
cantaloupe / 6634 posts
@Brawly: What a wonderful idea! It would be great to get PG ASAP, but if it doesn't work out until May, that might be even better...I still secretly hope I get PG this month. It's so conflicting! My EDD if I get PG this month would be December 27th.

Mrs.Lilac's BFP is definitely a good sign ladies! Bring on all of the BFPs!
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@keepcalmcarrie: I hope we're both wrong too! And hopefully that spotting is implantation spotting, especially since it's brown! Fingers crossed!!!
@simplyfelicity: Having a Christmas baby is really bad timing for us. My birthday is early January and both my parents have December birthdays already, so having ANOTHER December birthday would make that time of year really hectic! BUT I don't care, haha. I want a baby and I don't want to wait!
@Mrs.Lilac: YAY!!!!!! Congratulations!!!!! So happy for you!!! Way to start April off with a bang!

@Mrs.Lilac: I will congratulate you here too - CONGRATS!! So excited for you!!
@whenoceansrise: Yeah girl! Keep gettin' it on!!

Thanks so much ladies. I'm still in shock and trying to resist the urge to tell EVERYONE! I did scream "I'm pregnant!" To my husband very loud so now the neighbours know
Sending lots of positive thought to the April ladies. I really hope the BFP keep rolling in!!!

@Mrs.Lilac: Yay! Congrats! My due date with LO#1 was Dec 11th and I got my first faint positive on April 2nd!
