I think I totally look my age (turning 34 soon). I was recently at a Coldplay concert, and my friend and I were entering some sweepstakes. The girl who was taking entries asked if I was married, and I said that I was married with two children! She was shocked and said I barely looked old enough to be married, let alone have two kids.
I know I don't look THAT young, but I'll take it!
Are people ever shocked that you look old enough to be a mom?

Heck no, I look my age. Maybe people will be surprised once I have two kids? But I think I look my age for having one child.

Yes, I get that all the time! Granted, I'm on the younger side of motherhood for my area (27), but a lot of people seem surprised that those kids I'm carting around are mine. I used to get asked all the time if I was the nanny.

Nope! Haha. I'm pretty shocked I'm gonna be a mom of 2 soon though. I think my family and friends are still in shock too.

Yes - on Hellobee I definitely wouldn't be considered a young mom... but everyone around me has zero kids and don't intend to until they're in their 30s. It seems that people tend to have kids later in big cities like LA/OC... so I get surprised looks all the time when I say I'm already pregnant with my 2nd.

No. I used to look young. There was a high school class in my college library while I was in grad school, and I was mistaken for one of the high school students. But having a baby has aged me.

Yes I look super young...like 18! I took my test to be a principal a month ago and the proctor was like "you don't look old enough to be a principal!" I was like...uh...I've been teaching for 8 years, I'm married and just had a baby!

YES. Just this past Sunday at church, I met an older lady and she asked if I was a student. I said, no actually, I'm married and I have a daughter and she was floored.

@Mrs. High Heels: yes they're awesome! I've seen them twice! But the most fun concert I've been to was probably green day. They just have amazing state presence!
