We need some cute & good socks that stay on! I was looking at getting Trumpette socks but the $$ makes me wonder if they're worth it.

I bought most of mine through deal sites when they come up (like Zulily) and to me they were/are worth it. They really did stay on better than most of her other socks, and they looked cute with all different types of outfits.
Mostly I liked that they were simple with solid colors. I hated that I had all these patterned socks that clashed with a patterend onesie or outfit.

I had some, they were cute but Target brand & Old Navy stayed on her feet just as well
I would save your money!

when kids are babies and not wearing shoes yet, they are super cute.

I think they are super cute but I wouldn't pay full price. We found our set at TJ maxx for $6. I would look there for cute socks!

@emg86: Worth it? NO. No way. Cute? YES. Spulrge that makes me happy, happy, happy? Yes.
Lo (boy) has 5 pairs of assorted Johny Socks (Trumpett) and we LOVE them. I feel like they are more formal than just socks when the baby is too small for real shoes yet.

I love them! I'm super cheap, but they're something that I happily splurge a little on.

We have them for DS and I really like them! Super cute since he's not wearing shoes yet, and I got a deal on them so it wasn't too bad. They do stay on his feet well. We haven't tried other socks though because the ones we were handed down are too big for him.

I love ours! But I wait till they are on Zulily or on sale somewhere else. I wouldn't pay full price.
But now the 0-12 months are getting small on her. And she has small feet.

I
our trumpettes. I wish they sold a box of only the white sock with black Mary Janes because those match almost everything!

We love trumpettes! LO wore them all the time before she could wear shoes. They stayed on great and wore really well.
I think they are worth it!

@lawbee11: Agreed!
Love our Trumpettes, and they do get the most wear, but they seemed to have a short window period of being "just right". Surprisingly, the socks that hardly ever fall/slip off have been Juicy Coutures! They hold up really well!

i like them but would never pay full price for them. I found a couple of packs at TJ Maxx for cheap cheap cheap!

We got lots as gifts and I actually preferred the old navy ones... they are higher so they kept the gap between leggings and socks smaller when she was in the ergo, and they stayed on as well as the trumpettes (i.e. they did not really stay on at all).

I thought they were worth it. They're super cute on babies. I'm super cheap, but loved them so much I even gifted a pack.

I had a different brand, because I didn't care for the Trumpette designs for boys, the brand I got was Jazzy Toes.
