People have been buying them for me left and right because we are having a girl. Most of them are hot pink and black, which is I think is a very hideous color combination (IMHO). Some of them have leopard or zebra print, which I think makes them worse.
I do not think these things are my taste, and I probably won't bring her out in public wearing them!
Does anyone like them? Love them? Hate them?

I love tutus. But that one is.... a little too over the top for me. LO wore a tutu for my sister's wedding when she was a month old. It was lavendar and super cute. But she didn't seem comfortable in it so we changed her after the ceremony.

I do NOT understand the zebra/hot pink thing!! I don't think anything can get any tackier than that. Especially for a baby!!
I'm excited to dress my baby girl up in ballet shoes, a tutu, a leotard, and a hair bow! I took ballet from age 2 til 15 so I cannot help myself.

I am not a fan. I hate anything frilly and too fru fru. My daughter will not be fru fru while I'm dressing her. Cute, yes, fru fru, not so much.

@mediagirl: I have a friend who said that same thing. She told people not to buy her anything girly, no pink especally. Now she's 3 and the last time I saw her she was wearing pink from head to toe, including a tutu! Apparently all the little girls in her class dress like that so she wanted to also.

I'm not a fan of them, but to each their own. I don't think I could put my daughter in them (if I had one) and take myself seriously. You can always sell them on Craigslist!

However, I am NOT a fan of hot pink/zebra/leopard prints. Or pink in general.

I thought I would put DD in tutus and bows but nah. I always think to myself, would I be comfortable wearing this? The answer is usually no. I'm glad I never purchased tutus before she was born, I however have a few bows that are seldom worn. I loved the big huge bows before too, but now I think they are just too much for a little baby. We keep it cute and simple!

We have a beautiful ballet pink one that is soft and ruffly and very tasteful. We got it on Zulily and it doesn't quite fit yet.

@Thehistoryofus: agree about them liking the feeling, my LO had a pair of leggings with a tutu/bubble skirt attached from the GAP and she would be so content just rubbing the tulle in her hands.

But even the cute ones aren't my taste at all. Maybe if I danced ... I have a feeling I'll be getting some as well. I have a cousin that dances and she mentioned a tutu as soon as she heard I was pregnant. I really hope it's not that zebra printed one you linked! =D

I think tutus are adorable for little girls but I would honestly wait until she's old enough to ASK to wear then because I feel they trigger diva-ness too early. One thing I cannot stand in Little girls is an entitled diva attitude. My sister can be like that, if she didn't have us older sibs and good parents to keep her in line, I think we would have major attitude issues. She is 7.
Anyhow, yeah they're cute but if I ever have a girl, I will probably keep the "cuteness" toned down, even though I'm a total girl who loves pink and sparkle, I also love a grounded girl who isn't afraid to play in the mud
