I'm a fast reader! But these days it takes me at least a week to finish a book because I only have time on the train ride to and from work.

Crazy fast. I would get in trouble for finishing things too fast in class (the teacher didn't believe I was done, and would get annoyed!). I'm a big ole bookworm

I'm pretty fast if I actually sit down and read it. These days, my time is so broken up with having a LO that it takes a lot longer to get through a book.

I don't have time to sit and read any more but I used to be a fast reader. Now audible is my best friend!

Well when I actually get to reading, I'm really fast. My DH always complains that I'm moving through too quickly if we are reading something on a computer screen. But I've gotten terrible at finishing books. Just don't have good chunks of time to sit down and read. Wish I had a bus ride or something like that to read!

FAST! I'm speedy......before e-readers I would always have to take multiple books with me on vacation because I would plow through them so fast!

@locavore_mama: hm yeah huh? Maybe I'll try that when the weather cools down, wouldn't really be able to do that at my desk. I always have an agenda for my lunch time though... That's when I take care of all my errands!

Fast, but since E was born I usually only read in the tub so it takes longer to finish a book.

Fast. I usually finish an average-length book in a day. I have done that way too much with LO--it's like I forget that she doesn't care if I stayed up reading all night.

@Bookish: I love how similar you and I are in reading! I would always get "Go back and double-check your work" on standardized tests. "I already did!" wasn't a very well-received answer.

@MaisyMay: Haha right? I would always be the first person done with things, and I ended up just sitting there for aaages so I wasn't always the first person to turn it in. I got over that in college when I could leave class when I was done with tests!

@Bookish: Loved leaving when tests were done. They let me leave the SAT's early because I was done and not feeling well (don't think they were supposed to, but whatever). Most of the time whomever was giving tests would let me read when I finished. The one I hated was the tests where I had to just sit and wait when done. Ugh.

Pretty fast. I only read on public transit nowadays, so I usually go through 1 or 2 books a week. A few years ago I went through something like 7 or 8 just during the time I spent in the hotel on a 2 week vacation.

Very fast, it's basically a requirement/ part of the training of my grad program. When I was studying for my qualifying exams I had to get through an average of 3 academic books per day. It's pretty ridiculous!
