I used to be, to a fault (in a bad way). More recently, I've been better at saying, "Screw it" and just doing things that positively affect me. But it's a tough thing to balance.

To some extent.... but I'm a me pleaser first. Like when my SIL was recently in a bind and needed a babysitter, she asked me. I really really wanted to help, I love my niece and spending time with her. But I'm pregnant, I was having bad migraines, and I have my own LO to take care of. So even though I really wanted to say yes, I had to say no. Well I said I would only if she couldn't find any other option.

Definitely. I've gotten a little better over the years, but it's still something I really need to work on.

I never ever used to be until I became a parent. For awhile it stole my happiness and joy and I really let it get to me. I'm getting better now.
