I kind of am, but it doesn't ever stop me from doing it. My MIL is very afraid, so they haven't flown in a very long time. DH has only flown twice, both since we've been together, because of it. So naturally he's afraid too. Luckily on our next flight we'll have LO to distract him and keep his mind off of it though.

I am afraid of flying, but I'll still do it because I love to travel. It's gotten a little worse over the years and I hope I never get to the point that I cannot make myself get on an airplane. The anxiety is the worst in the week leading up to my flight, and right before we take off. Once the plane is in the air I'm usually okay if I can get my mind on something else.
DH travels for work a ton and he's not scared at all, but I just sit at home and stay scared for him.

I used to love to fly. Then when I was a senior in high school I was on a prop plane out of the Bahamas and the engine failed. Understandably I'm no longer a good flyer. But, I don't let it stop me from traveling... I push through it!

I've never flown on a commercial airplane.
My dad has his pilot's license and he has a small 6-seater plane that I've flown in tons of times. I think its so much fun! I still haven't convinced DH to go for a ride. I guess since its my dad flying it, it doesn't bother me at all. I can see how it could be scary for some people though!

I don't love it but I also don't hate it. I wish there was a safe way to cross the Atlantic in 2 hours, the length of the flights are what gets me.

I love to fly! If I haven't been on a plane in a couple of months I miss it. I used to not want to use the plane bathrooms but a coupes of 9 hour flights helped me get over that.

@cupcakemama: I'm the same way! It means we're going somewhere fun and away from work. I'm all for that!! The flight home always sucks though. Ha!

I loved flying when I was a kid, hated it after 9/11, and am just now starting to enjoy it again.

I am scared of heights, and don't enjoy flying. But I do it all the time; I once commuted weekly back and forth between DC and SF!

OMG I hate it!
When we went for our honeymoon to Vegas it was only 3 1/2 hours. But, as soon as we took off my anxiety went through the roof and I was in tears. DH distracted me the best he could but it was torture.
The way home was worse for some reason. I was freaking out.
Crying and worried about every little move I felt.
I'm not an ideal flyer by any means lol -
I love flying. My dad was an air traffic controller until he retired and had a 4-seat Cessna when I was growing up. I always have a split second of nervousness right before takeoff on any flight but other than that I'm fine.

Nope, I'm not that afraid, but I don't fly often. But I'm flying this Friday at 27 weeks... and again in a month at 32 weeks... yikes!

I never was afraid growing up, but in recent years... takeoffs and landings are TERRIFYING to me! I grip DH's hand for dear life!

I've never been afraid of flying. My mom is deathly afraid of flying and even from a young age, I've been the one trying to calm her down on planes.
