I'm not too 'active' but I'm a member of my undergrad's alumni association. We have a meetup group that sees games downtown. I try to make it to at least one game. My license plate on my car does spell out my school name and I have a school magnet on my car. I'm a bad alumni considering my car looks like I should be really active... but I'm not. Coworkers think I watch all the games and are a bit disappointed that I don't.

Not of my undergrad, but I still go back every year for our high school alumni event.

My DH was president of his alumni association for a while. But I never did anything like that. I love watching the games, and that's about it.

I have made it a point to never give money to my college, as I felt it didn't provide institutional support to the things that were important to me!

not really. i donate to my high school from time to time but not to my college. i feel eh, about my college so i choose not to donate to them.

@mrbee: Aww, that sucks. I'm sorry.
I do feel that my school helped me with where I am today. It was mostly the internship opportunities, undergrad research and facuilty support that got me my first job when I graduated and thus started my career. I know graduates that didn't do the internships and they struggled to find a job in the field.

Nope! I wasn't too active while I was in school either. I was a big ole bookworm.

@mrbee: I agree, I think the 4 years of out state tuition my parents paid was enough! I'm very INactive.

Nope! I was a college hopper and dont feel that I have a true "alma mater" to be loyal to... plus those damn donation calls are so annoying!
