Nope. But I'm two days overdue and caught up on every household chore that ever was.

Today is the day that I started washing all of H's baby stuff. And to say I'm over it is beyond an understatement...I still have 5 or 6 loads left, and so I'm feeling VERY behind and just....overwhelmed.
My mother sent her 14 million pairs of socks and I think that was secretly her way of getting me back for everything awful I've ever done. I had to untag, unfold, wash, and match all of them. The tinier they are, the more exhausting to handle.

@PrincessBaby: oh lady! i know how that feels. it took me a whole weekend of nothing but laundry to handle everything. and then people kept giving us stuff so ive got another drier full right now actually...

@highwire: Yes! How do you tell people not to give you any more stuff because you don't want to effing wash it! Gah! I'm only doing all the blankets, sheets, swaddles, towels/washcloths, and the clothing that's either NB or 0-3. And I'm about to kill myself! The sad thing is that I'll have to do it over for the bigger clothes I have later on! My mother has sent me so much 6-12 mos from garage sales- literally boxes, on top of what I bought for H. I will definitely think long and hard about every item I purchase from here on out...."Do I like this enough to wash it and add it to the already-enormous laundry responsibility I now have?"

@PrincessBaby: ha right! I actually prefer the hand me down because there isn't 800 tags and plastic pieces to remove...

I'm actually one hundred percent caught up on laundry including sheets and towels. But I'm getting induced tomorrow and wanted to come home to a clean and organized house so I had major motivation!

@MamaMoose: I know! I make DH put his own clothes away. I will fold them though just so it gets done.
GOLD / squash / 13464 posts
@MrsH: that's how it works for us too. And I always put his folded clothes in piles on his side of the bed so he has to put them away same day : )

We just did 5 loads of laundry today and all out of underwear, so we definitely were behind!

Normally I'm on top of it but we've been so busy this weekend so I'm behind

@princessbaby if you wash little socks in a mesh lingerie bag it keeps them contained and makes it less daunting!

I'm actually on top of laundry right now. We'll see how long that lasts

I'm way behind. I've been gone all week and now it's catching up. Tomorrow, however, is cleaning day. Hubby is coming home Tuesday night and we are decorating for the holidays, so tomorrow, everything gets done.

@Mrs. Fix: That's exactly the suggestion I was going to add! I got one for my shower and was super confused but it's turned out to be one of the best gifts I got!!
Oh, and in response to the laundry question? I'm never caught up. It's not even J's laundry that is the issue, it's mine! I'm an outfit whore and wear 2-4/day. Yes. PER. DAY. Pj's, work clothes, after-work clothes, then PJ's again. I can't stand staying in my work clothes at home!
