I *know* it's stupid, but I can't help but buy into the hype! I'm part of two big pools (one work, one neighborhood) and bought a couple of extra for myself. Are you playing?

We don't play the lottery all the time, but I think it's kind of fun to toss a few bucks in and get a couple tickets when the jackpot gets so high. The odds are bad, but you miss 100% of the shots you don't take, right?

On Saturdays drawing we bought 6 tickets and literally had one matching number.......One. Im a sucker I guess because im buying more for Wednesday's drawing!! -
Got 'em this morning. While I'd be over the moon with the jackpot, I'd even be pleased with a small portion of it. It's such a small investment we make ($10), even $5,000 would be better than I can get in the stock market

Of course! The potential return on investment is so high. And even if I buy all losers, it is fun to play for the dream with such a small investment.

I haven't decided yet. I bought a few last go around and I actually was got a little anxious thinking, oh, if we win, it will change our lives forever, people will come out of the woodwork asking for money. I would honestly rather win one of the smaller amounts than $1 billion! I know that sounds crazy, haha.

Okay so there are *40* people in my office pool, ha ha!!!! If we win and it's a 2 or 3 way tie (the most statistically likely outcome), we're all gonna get like $100 after taxes.

DH went in on a pool with 4 other families, so if we win it, it'll be divided up by 5. Works for me!
