I have quite a fear of a specific insect, an earwig or a forky tail. I got a fright as a 6 year old and it's stayed with me.
Also I don't eat seafood, I'm desperate not to pass this dislike on to LO but don't know how to hide my dislike!
Has your lo picked up any phobias/dislikes of yours?

I don't eat meat but my daughter devours it at the dinner table. I was always worried she'd say "but mommy doesn't have to!" and I really don't have a good answer for that one. So far, we haven't had to worry about it.
I also have a ridiculous fear of bees and spiders. I'm trying so hard not to pass that along!

I am trying not to pass along my fear of spiders, but I can't act like they don't bother me. I don't want her to be afraid of bugs (but really, some spiders are dangerous).

The only major fear I have is of heights and I guess it will be a while before I would have to worry about her getting that from me?
But I really dislike broccoli and I serve it to her anyway, and so far so good.

I'm not a fan of bugs in general but I am trying to teach her the non-biting ones are just as interesting as other animals. This has led to me holding a cricket, a grasshopper, a roach and a beetle at different times in the last 4 months to show her I wasn't afraid and they were ok. So grossed out but that is love
I have some social anxiety that is hard to hide because I am sure she senses my discomfort, so I go overboard being friendly and happy in social situations.
Also, really careful to not say anything about weight around her.

I am afraid of bugs and go running to my husband every time I see one! My son does the exact same thing! It's quite funny!

I'm pretty terrified of spiders. I think DD has probably noticed b/c I'm not very good at hiding it. She is pretty timid around most moving creatures though -- cats, dogs, our pet rabbit, large and small insects. That I did not pass onto her. I don't really know where that fear came from, but we are working on it right now.

I try not to make a big deal about things I don't like. I give L any and all food, even if I'm not a fan.
There isn't much that I'm scared of otherwise...

I don't like raw tomatoes, but thankfully she's always loved them. We have more of a problem with things we do like (DH's sweet tooth, my preference for just staying in vs. taking regular walks).

I'm afraid of pretty much everything and I don't want LO to be like this so I try hard to counter this. She's in a swim class right now and loves the water (I'm afraid of swimming/the water). She loves yogurt and I HATE it with a passion. I don't like peas and those are her favorite veggies.
I think the only thing is our family dislike of tomatoes. DH and I both think they're gross though we've tried to feed them to LO and she spits them out and says she doesn't like them.

@mrsjazz: Same! I put LO in a swim class at 6 months, I like the water but am a very poor swimmer and want him to be a very strong swimmer. Ditto on the yougurt - he loves it though.
I tend to the anxious worrier type and I am really working to counter that so he doesn't pick up and copy that - I got it from my Mom so I am really working hard on this one!
I don't mind bugs which is good as he was playing with ants yesterday. Delightful.
