This story is nuts---I've always been very trusting and have made tons and tons of transactions through Craigslist, which my husband hates because he is much more cautious. But I'm starting to see his POV....

Beyond sick.
I was actually extremely paranoid about this because I bought a number of second hand things for LO1 when we lived in NYC. I made someone meet me in their apartment lobby for one item and either sent or went with DH to pick up others.

Something similar happened in Portland a few years back, neither the Mom or baby survived. The poor husband. It is just so sick.
