Like dining, traveling, seeing movies, etc? I don't mind! Probably not so much the traveling anymore, though.

I've never eaten alone, never gone to the movies alone, never traveled alone!

I've eaten alone and I don't mind that. But I've never been to a movie alone...I should try it, though.

Yup. With all the traveling for work I do, I have to be! I felt awesome when I went to a movie by myself the first time. Of course it was a Nicholas sparks movie so I sniffled through it.
I used to have to sit at the bar to feel comfortable eating alone, now I just grab a booth and my book.

No, I can shop alone but everything else I prefer company when out and about!

I've eaten alone and traveled alone. It was no big deal. Actually, I did drive 16 hours alone once and that sucked. I was screaming to the music I had playing. I've never been to a movie alone. I wouldn't mind it, but I can usually find someone to go and it's not an issue.

yes totally. in fact i would LOVE to travel alone. i doubt i will ever get a chance to do that though. maybe when the kids are way, way older.

I hate doing things alone -- even things like errands and other things that I should be able to do alone. I have to travel alone for work quite often, and I always try to make new friends really quickly at whatever work event I'm at so that I don't have to eat any awkward meals alone.

@Andrea: probably somewhere not too far. i love driving alone so it could even be driving distance. i haven't seen much of the east coast since I'm from the west coast!

I totally don't mind eating alone. I"ve never watched a movie alone. I don't think it would be that fun for me. I LOVE shopping alone though. I actually prefer it.

I've never been to a movie alone or gone to a restaurant alone. I haven't traveled much alone, I think I only stayed in a hotel alone once. I stopped going to bars alone after I was followed home by a guy one night & he ended up being a creepy stalker that took months to get rid of. I do like to shop alone & I don't mind going to museums/beaches/touristy things alone

@chopsuey119: Ha me neither.
Going to the movies alone is on my 101 in 1001 list. haha.

I've never done any of those things alone, but I do enjoy being alone...just at home, lol.

I'm not a fan of doing things alone (movies, eating out, etc). If I do have to eat out alone I'm usually playing on my phone so I feel less awkward. I do like shopping alone sometimes.

I don't like doing things alone! I really like having people with me. I ate out for lunch once by myself and felt really awkward!

When I was single, I liked doing things alone. Especially shopping alone! I would always feel slightly uncomfortable dining alone though, so I usually have something to read on the table - but at the same time, I love how peaceful it was.
But since DH, I prefer to be with him. I can't imagine traveling alone anymore. I still enjoy dining alone though, but at lunch places, nothing formal or fancy.

I definitely wouldn't go out to eat or to a movie by myself. I would just feel awkward!
I do like to go out to coffee alone though and bring along a good book.

I love seeing a movie alone! I used to go all the time. I would go in the middle of the day when it's not crowded though, sometimes I had theaters all to myself.
I don't mind eating alone as long as I have a book. I get bored if I'm just sitting there doing nothing.
Traveling.... it just depends. I have an awful sense of direction, so I'm too scared I'll get lost. I spent a week in NYC with my sister a couple of years ago, and she worked so I was on my own. Every night we would figure out what I wanted to do the next day and she'd give me step by step instructions on how to get everywhere. I couldn't change my mind because I can't read a map and figure out any changes. But I did have fun, it was nice being able to do only what I wanted and not having to do what someone else wanted to do.

I used to travel a lot for work so traveling alone wasn't a big deal, I've eaten at restaurants by myself, but I usually bring a book since it can be awkward. I prefer company while eating out though. In general, I don't mind doing things alone.

I've dined and watched movies alone, but have never traveled alone.

I've done all those things alone and never felt weird about it. I bring a book when I'm out eating alone so that I have something to do, and also so that others dining alone don't strike up conversations. It's kind of fun to get some time to yourself.
