I have no idea what my 3 year old will be - one of her princess dresses! She says Elsa.
I'm going as Sully, and my LO is going to be Boo (I'm going to wear her!).

Yes and no. I'm not sure if I can get DH to dress up!
DD1 wants to be Daniel tiger and baby sister to be baby Margaret. I'm going to be mom tiger. I can probably convince DH to wear a blue hoodie at least.

We're doing Wizard of Oz with some friends. So there will be 8 of us all coordinating (adults and kids).

According to dd: she is Ariel, ds is flounder, I'm ursela and dh is Eric. I better get on it!

We have to get Wes a Peter Pan costume for his dance recital in mid October anyway so he'll (3 years old) be Peter, I'm making Oliver (20 months old) a fox lost boy outfit (plus getting him a slingshot), I'm being Hook, and my husband is being Smee! Haha Its funny because my husband is SUPER slim, I'm trying to convince him to put a pillow in his shirt.

DD wants to be Rapunzel, so DS is going to be Pascal (really just a frog costume with a tail sewed on). If we go to a family Halloween party DH will be Flynn Rider and I'll be Mother Gothel (DD chose those for us, thanks!)

We are doing the Flintstones this year because my daughter has a book about Pebbles and actually knows who the Flintstones are! I like the idea of Little Red Riding Hood - I hadn't thought about fairytales....

No- I don't even know what we are doing this year for actual Halloween. We will do some kids events but odds are good it will be just me and DD mostly anyway. She's going to be a tiger and I may buy a pair of cat ears for me and draw whiskers on me when I do her face paint. Mostly because I think she will think it's funny. DH would not be into it.

The twins will be Luke and Leia, DH will be Darth Vader, and I'm going to be R2D2 (well, just wearing a tshirt I found at target).

Not family, but the girls will coordinate. I originally got them Lil Bo Peep and a sheep. But we've had a change of plans. Now I have a witch and her black cat.

Yup for the first time. Charlie loves the idea of doing a matching costume to Olive so she's Little Red Riding Hood, he's the big bad wolf, I'm the granny, and Mr Bee is the huntsman.

ds is going to be a dionsaur, so we are dressing as people from Jurassic Park

We've done family costumes the past 2 years and nothing is really jumping out at me this year. I'll also be 5 months preggo!

@MrsLonghorn: We did that one last year! It was excellent and really easy to do!

Not this year. Normally I try to organize something. Last year was Star Wars, but we all ended up sick and L was the only one to complete his look and totally rock it.
This year I haven't been on my Halloween game at all, so I'm throwing things together last minute.

our two boys will be pumpkins and I will probably wear a pumpkin shirt so we'll be a pumpkin patch

If I could get DH on board.... DS is going to be an Oompa Loompa, and I could've been Veruca Salt, him Willy Wonka...

DD1 is going as Minnie and DD2 is going as her cat figiro. I can't get DH on board

Love group costumes!
@MrsH: I would NEVER be able to get DH on board.
I wanted to do Yo Gabba Gabba last year but DH wouldn't do DJ Lance, hahaha

We love family costumes. I don't know how long I can keep it going for but this is our seventh year of doing costumes together. we are doing characters from Harry Potter this year. They are very excited.

@rachiecakes: his reply was "I'll dress like their dad." Um, that's not a costume dude.

@MrsH: Molly weasly. I am pretty excited but I have to finish my dress

Yep, we're doing this one! Enjoying having her young enough that she hasn't opinion on her costume! She has a cupcake outfit to wear as well, since the costume is bulky and probably uncomfortable.

I'm working, so I'm not dressing up this year
But dd and DH are going as Wreck it Ralph and Vanellope Von Schweetz. I'm so excited to see the finished product! ....so I better get started.

I need an idea! My mom is sewing a tiger costume for the baby, what should me and dh be??? My only idea is lion(s) tiger(s) and bear(s)...
pomelo / 5607 posts
@junebugsmama: Yep! I picked it because of my love of cupcakes! And I got a new apron out of it.
