My mom is like a best friend to me. We hang out all the time, talk about everything, go shopping together, etc. We weren't friends until I became an adult though, probably after I got married.
She said the sweetest thing today, that sh doesn't know what she'd do without her daughters as her friends. It was soo sweet and made me want a daughter of my own.

It took almost 30 years but we are finally friends, after being enemies for a long long time. I really love and miss my mom (up til 3 years ago she lived within a 30 min drive of me).

yes. i was always a mommy's girl, until i became a teenager and we'd fight all the time. then i went to college and we became friends again. now, i talk to her like i would talk to one of my girlfriends.

Yes, we've always been close. When I was younger we'd spend our Friday nights eating dairy queen and watching old movies. And my senior year of high school she had something booked for us every weekend. A play, opera, ballet, museum, etc. Since I was leaving soon for college, she felt like we had to get everything in. It was a good year for me!

My mom drives me batty sometimes, but we're very close. I live 1500 miles away from her now, but we still chat a few times a week and text at least once a day. I actually feel like since I've been pregnant, we've gotten even closer too.

My mom is totally my best friend. We are super close now, and I talk to her every other day. She is my biggest cheerleader and my best support.

Yep. We're basically attached at the hip, despite her living half-way across the country. And I get to see her in 4 days! YAY! (Super Mom drives halfway across country to help 12 week pregnant daughter move.)

Yes! We are very good friends now! Only within the last year though. We spend almost every Friday and Saturday together, and go to lunch every Wednesday.

Absolutely! I love my mama so much! We live halfway across the country from each other but we have Sunday phone chats to catch up. We can talk for hours and not realize it!

I was never friends with my mom until I got married...And more so now that I have a LO. For the first 30 years of my life, my mom was my mom.

My mom and I were always really close. My brothers are much, much older than me so once I hit 5th or 6th grade, I was pretty much an only child. We talk about everything, we go shopping, we hang out, etc. Even now that I live overseas, I still talk to her 2-3 times a week for an hour or so.

Yep whenever I'm having a down day she's the first I call to see if she wants to go eat or shopping or something. She can always make me feel better!

Yep, I'm super fortunate to be very close with my mum. We actually just got back from 10 days in Europe together, just the two of us. I feel so blessed that we got to spend that time together
