My BIL told us that he is expecting a little one a few weeks ago. His FI's EDD is Feb 2013! He told us not to tell MIL so we didn't. She found out today and she is mad that we didn't leak the news to her...ha!

If someone tells me not to tell, I won't. But I hate knowing secrets that I can't tell!

If I'm told not to, I won't! And generally even if the person doesn't say not to, if anything, I'll only tell my husband. Sometimes not even him.
I just talked myself in a circle. So I guess the answer is yes, I can, but sometimes I don't? HAHA.

i'm really really bad. like, REALLY bad. the second you tell me a secret I almost always blab it. Usually to the person who isn't supposed to know
so, i warn anyone who is about to tell me one that i will absolutely tell. haha!

Nope. But I give people the warning in advance that I'm crappy about keeping secrets and if they still want to tell me, they can...but they shouldn't if they really don't want anyone else to know.

I think I'm good about it, at least for other people's secrets. It's my own I can't keep! My sister told me she was pregnant almost right away, and I didn't even tell DH until I got her OK. Although, it only took me maybe a week to ask her for permission to tell him. (When I eventually tell her that I am pregnant, I'll expect her husband to know about 4 minutes later).

If I'm told I can't tell I normally dont. I always have to tell DH though. I'm really not a good secret keeper and I hate being told secrets. So I just try to avoid them at all costs!

I would never keep anything from my DH if he asked, but otherwise I don't say a word if it's someone elses secret.

I'm very good about keeping secrets for people though - I just know not to bring them up. But I also let people know that when they tell me things, they have to assume I may tell Hubs. But Hubs isn't social and doesn't talk to people, so he's even better at keeping secrets than me!

I'm never good at keeping my own secrets! I blab everything. As far as other people's secrets I'm good at keeping the big stuff (like a pregnancy) not so great at keeping the little stuff. And I always tell me husband everything (unless very specifically asked not to). If I tell a married person a secret I full expect that they will tell their spouse.

I can't keep a secret from my husband, even something that doesn't matter to him. I know he'd never tell if I told him not to and I wouldn't tell anyone else so I think I'm pretty good!

Ok just realized that doesn't make sense. HAHAHA. If someone says "don't tell anyone" then I won't tell. If they don't, I'll usually tell my DH. But will tell him not to tell anyone

I'm pretty good at keeping secrets, but sometimes it's too difficult for me to keep it from DH.

Yes, but I fair warn the secret giver that I will tell my husband. I don't keep secrets from him. I will never tell anyone else, though. It's up to them if they still want to tell me.
