My holiday isn't over yet.... but I'm not going to be sad when it ends. It was fun, but very hectic and I'm ready to get back to normal life.
Do you miss the holidays when they're over?

I love the holidays! However, I'll be happy when they're over. I've spent tons of money this year!

I love the holidays! The hustle and bustle...The hubs having a few days at home with us...Snuggling...I'll miss it for sure!

A little but it is too crazy for me. Rather get back to normal life.

I don't count the holidays over until after New Year's (my birthday) and this year we are guaranteed a nice long break from work with the coming arrival of our boy- so this year I'm not sad at all, and almost ready to get on with things. Being that I won't be going back to work full time, I'm really excited!

The main reason I'm sad is that now I have to find room in my house for everything that other people bought our LO

@lemondrop: Totally agree (and my bday is the 31st!). The holiday season extends till like Jan 2nd IMO lol.

I'm already ready happy their almost over & once the new year is past I'll be even happier! Lol

I'm glad they're going to be over. It means SO's hours go back to normal and he isn't working the holiday rush (10-12 hour night shifts, 7 days a week) and it means that my holiday home to see my family is approaching! I'm more excited for that then I was for christmas. XD

I'm happy they are over. No one really got into it this year and we're seriously talking about bagging the whole thing (including tree) and heading to a beach with palm trees and little drinks with umbrellas in them, for next year.

@junebugmama: I did all DIY gifts because we don't have the money to spend. I'm exchanging gifts with my family tonight ... I hope they like them and don't think I'm cheap!
@rubies : I will miss that extra time with my hubby too!
@lemondrop: wow, how fun to have a new years birthday, what a special day for you! Sounds like you have a lot to be excited about in 2012!
@laneybugsmommy: are you unhappy with so many gifts? I feel like that would be a good thing!
@venice4504: that's kind of sad that nobody got into the holidays. But coming from a Floridian ...it's fun to go to the beach in December! I prefer that over a white Christmas any day

I'm torn.
I'm glad they're over because I've been missing my family sense we didn't get to go back to the States this year. It also means we're that much closer to getting to meet our son!

I'm going to miss them. I love spending time with my family and having my husband home.

@Artbee: I'm not unhappy that they all love her and wanted to get her so much, but I do have a very small (960 sq foot house) and as of right now its almost impossible to walk on my living room floor because I have to go through and sort everything and figure out places to put it all. This is the house I lived in growing up and my mom did it for my brother and I so I'm sure its possible, just a lot of work and time consuming...

I always get sad when Christmas is over. I guess I'm still a little kid at heart...I start counting down in October because I love this time of year so much! Last night, I felt a little sad, but definitely not as much I normally am. I think that's because we are going to start TTC in a few months and I am super excited for that!
