Are you happy with your current wardrobe? I'm in such a slump, I'm not in love with any of my clothes right now. I need it to warm up, I am so tired of my winter clothes.

Not at all. I still can't fit in some of my pre-pregnancy clothes. My hips are so much bigger. I have to go major shopping soon.

No, not at all. I hate spending money on clothes though so that isn't getting remedied any time soon.
papaya / 10570 posts
Not at all. I was just saying to my mum this weekend that everything I own is either too small or really old and faded. I have been putting off buying new clothes for about 3 years because I keep telling myself that I will lose weight - but I can't stay int he right frame of mind long enough and, in the meantime, my appropriate sized clothes are getting older and older. I need an entire new wardrobe. It's finding the money, isn't it?

@PermaStudent: Exactly this.
I try to buy one or two nicer pieces that will be good for work every so-often, but I would seriously love a complete overhaul.

No, I'm still in maternity clothes and I HATE them..... I cant wait to wear a pair of jeans with a zipper
pomegranate / 3601 posts
I have the same problem as @Smurfette but for me all my pre-pregnancy cloths are way too big (esp. bottoms and dresses). So either I start gaining weight soon or I'll have to go get new cloths... (The later sounds much more appealing )

I just started buying new things for spring!
It's still been pretty cold here so I haven't worn them yet, but I'm excited to.
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
Yes! I replaced all my pre-preg clothes with clothes that actually fit, so even though I'm heavier than before, I think I look pretty decent. It's amazing what well-fitting clothes will do for you!
Of course, I haven't found good jeans yet, so I'm rocking sweat pants on the weekends, haha. I'm so cool.
grapefruit / 4089 posts
@redsmarties: a complete overhaul would be a dream. I would love to toss every single thing I own and start over!
blogger / honeydew / 7081 posts
@PermaStudent: So what we need to do is get my mom involved for some serious bargain shopping, haha.

Not at all. I haven't really shopped in a long time and I've been way different in size in just 3 years. Nothing fits.
grapefruit / 4554 posts
Not really, I'm in that awkward phase that maternity clothes are way to big and my prepreg clothes are a smidge too tight. I would love an entire new wardrobe, I have some pieces that are over 5+ years old.
watermelon / 14206 posts
Nope. I just told DH this morning that I need a wardrove overhaul. I haven't bought new non maternity clothes in forever.
pomegranate / 3863 posts
@Smurfette: Same.
I've been putting off buying nice clothes in hopes that I'd fit back into my old wardrobe so I've just been buying cheap stuff. I think I'm going to just go out and buy some stuff that fits my current body well and that I can feel good about myself in. I'm sick of feeling frumpy and bad about myself!

I am slowly replacing pieces, so yes, I am pretty happy. Some of my most recent finds are dresses, which I wear almost daily to work.
Having a formula really makes it a lot easier.
cantaloupe / 6885 posts
Ugh no!
Even though I'm at my PP weight none of my old clothes fit right (or at all )
I'm going to the outlets in orlando in a few weeks and clothes are my #1 priority!

@petunia354: This what I told DH over the weekend. I hate spending the money on clothes in a size I hate but I need to feel better about myself. I am going to hit up Loft this weekend and see if I can find some cute stuff since I just got a coupon in the mail.

I'm meh on mine. Before babies, I used to wear dresses all the time, and I would like to again, but it's so hard to find dresses that work for breastfeeding.
@looch: I agree, I love a wardrobe formula.
grapefruit / 4006 posts
Not really. I'm in a fashion slump. I just signed up for stitch fix yesterday though and I figure that is the cheapest way to have a personal stylist! Hopefully they can refresh my wardrobe.
hostess / wonderful honeydew / 32460 posts
I'm happy with mine! Could always use more clothes though
pear / 1614 posts
No! I've been pregnant or between pregnancies for 3 years now and haven't wanted to invest in anything decent. I have purged a ton but always have more work to do there. Trying to minimize is going well so far except that I think I've gotten too minimal. I'm considering trying one of the style sites (tog+porter, stitch fix) to give me some variety.
grapefruit / 4085 posts
No I'm totally over my winter clothes! I also just donated a bunch of stuff so there's less now. I'm really looking forward to getting some new summer dresses, sandals, etc
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
I like most my clothes since I'm pretty good about donating things that don't fit well or I don't wear anymore. But of course I always wish I can buy new clothes and have a wardrobe refresh! But I am def not buying any clothes since I'll be needing maternity clothes later!
kiwi / 566 posts
I am! I am so thankful to be out of my maternity rotation and back into most of my pre-pregnancy clothes. There are a few pairs of pants that don't fit yet (I'm hoping they will soon), but my favorite jeans do (my only improvement would be to find more jeans like them, because they are awesome, but I found them on the Limited clearance rack years ago!!).
hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts
No but I haven't shopped in ages. I live in a very hippie /yoga pants town.
cherry / 241 posts
Eh. I'm so-so. I'm only back into some of my pre-pregnancy clothes (not the pants--doubt I'll ever fit into them again, thanks new hips!). I love wearing dresses so much, but since I'm nursing/pumping they aren't really convenient at the moment. So I've been trying to pick up cute summery tops here and there to make me feel a little bit better about my wardrobe.

I need more spring stuff for when it warms up, and work stuff...my work clothes are so boring. Howver, I plan on trying to get pregnant soon so I don't want to buy a bunch when I will be pulling out my maternity clothes.
papaya / 10560 posts
well, since jan 2012 i've been pregnant, nursing, pregnant, nursing...with no breaks, i'm ready for some new clothes!
pear / 1879 posts
Not at all. While I have gotten a few new pieces since LO was born, my shape has changed so much (I lost my butt, so all pants are huge on me!) so I still just have a few things that fit well. I find that I wear the same things over and over again, and I am just not happy with anything I have in my closet!
GOLD / wonderful apricot / 22646 posts
nope! dh and i just did a closet clean out last wknd and we'll be shopping for some new clothes! can't wait!
blogger / wonderful cherry / 21616 posts
Nope! I haven't gone shopping in super long. I have just a few items I'd like to spruce things up...
pomelo / 5524 posts
Ugh...no. I hate all of my clothes. I usually buy things too big and they hang off of me and make me look like a frump. I need to do a closet clean out, take inventory and start buying new things!
wonderful olive / 19353 posts
Nope!! I'm BF so I rotate between the same 5-6 shirts that are nursing friendly. And I rock the same few pairs of jeans as well. Super lame!! Once we wean close to 1 year (we're at 8.5 months), hopefully, I can rewear some of my pre-pregnancy clothes. If not, I'm going to purge my closet of them!
hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts
@Greentea: yep I'm in mountain town! Where did you live?
pomelo / 5220 posts
No, I am in the awkward stage where I don't really need maternity clothes (other than pants) full time but other clothes are tight and uncomfortable... I just want it to be warm so I can wear dresses every day!
pomegranate / 3204 posts
No, not at all. 7 weeks PP and nothing fits, but so done with winter maternity clothes. I need to go shopping!
