One of the surprises of parenthood has been that some days are great, and some days are awful. The variability is a lot higher than I'm used to!!
Are you having a good day today?

No! DH's car isn't working again, so now I have to stress about getting that fixed. We have been dealing with that POS for too long now. Plus, we are still waiting to hear back on the house we are trying to get, and that has me feeling overly anxious. Sigh...hopefully the night brings something better.

Absolutely! Missed the first 3 hours of work for a doctor's appointment (+ secretly an oil change and breakfast for lunch). I love playing hookey!

It looks like we're actually going to be able to finance a new home before this baby's born after all! This is GREAT news because we've been trying to get this one house since mid-December! I'm so excited!

No. No I am not. Lots of crying and very little sleeping from baby today.

It's growth spurt week, so that'd be a negative.
Lord, send me strength!

@MamaMoose: am I terrible that your day makes me feel better? I am having the exact same day! It's oddly inspirational to know I'm not alone:(

Nope, I didn't sleep much because my LO was coughing all night. We are both sick but I have too much to do and I can't relax!

It's been pretty good! I got my new Foscam configured and installed and mounted and all that good stuff so now I can spy on my babe. It's a small thing, but I'm really proud that I was able to get it all figured out myself instead of waiting for DH to do it. And DS's naps have been good today--hasn't cried more than 5 minutes before each one! Progress!
Plus I have a pot of chili warming on the stove so I don't have to worry about trying to make dinner during the post a thon tonight

Not at all. I 39 weeks pregnant, I caught the flu thats going around and am super sick. I am still working full time and realized this morning at my doc appt that DH leaves one month from today (Military, will be gone 1.5yrs)

Sort of. Thursdays are always hard because DH works 12:30-9, and then back on Friday morning at 7. And DH has been giving me attitude about looking after LO lately - very annoying. And this week has been very mentally exhausting.
BUT. LO has been napping since 3:30ish, I have said 'screw it' to doing any housework, and I'm entertaining the idea of picking up Wendy's for dinner when I go pick up DH. Now all we have to do is change the kitty litter when he gets home and hope that LO doesn't pull a marathon awake session like last night. *fingers crossed*

Awesome day. Doc visit for my daughter in the morning, then a nap in the car then lunch. Then we waked around a fun neighborhood and poked around the thrift stores and got a few groceries. I also got a good walk in. Basically a perfect day.

Good:
Get to play with LO all day
Didn't have to go to work
Got a few errands done
Bad:
Am playing with LO all day bc the nanny is sick
Had to cancel a meeting this morning bc of above
On said errands, I was not paying attention and LO fell and cut his eyelid, fortunately not needing stitches, but gave me a good scare and I feel terrible about it

No. I'm probably just being sensitive Sally but I got my feelings hurt today. Oh well!

Meh, DH was home sick again today but I did get extra help with LO all day

Going ok, tired all day, then more tired after packing. Things will be 100% about 1030 or so when DH gets home.

@TurtleDoves: I feel like I can't post personal stuff on here anymore without someone finding it, but let's just say someone told me not to do one thing and then told everyone else they could do the opposite, and same person doesn't seem grateful for anything I have done for them and only contacts me when they need something or wants to borrow something or needs me to do their nails... anyways I am just a bit hurt.

@TurtleDoves: don't feel bad. It's always comforting to know you aren't the only mama with a fussy pants baby!!

I was having a good day today because a coworker praised my work but then another coworker came over and had a rather heated disagreement with me in front of my cubical. For my entire department to hear! Talk about awkward! I had to constantly tell him that we should discuss this as a group. He.did.not.get.it! Then he threw me under the bus some more by involving someone else (from another group) to make me be in the wrong. So annoyed with him!! (By the way, he is in the wrong as we have been doing this procedure this way for years! He is just stubborn and difficult to work with! )

Not really! Nothing seems to be going right unfortunately and things are getting piled on top of each other so my emotions have taken a hit today unfortunately. Luckily Lo has been having pretty good naps which has allowed me to sit on the sofa quietly and feel sorry for myself. It has improved slightly over the course of the day though thankfully.
