We are keeping it to ourselves. The only person that knows that there might be a chance that we are pregnant this month is my best friend and my sister, and that is only because they are really good about keeping secrets (I Had to tell SOMEONE!). I know that if I told my mom she would be calling constantly to see if we got a BFP yet and that is just too much stress for me to deal with, especially if it ends up taking a while. I have had three miscarriages in the past from unplanned pregnancies, so I'm also going to try my hardest to wait until we are past 10 weeks to announce our pregnancy.

My mom and two friends know. It will be a secret until week 12 for everyone else.

We got pregnant the first month we tried and then miscarried. We told our families and close friends about the MC so they assumed that we were trying after that. I got PG again 3 months later and again MC’d but that time only my parents and sister knew since it happened really early. I didn’t get pregnant with this baby until 8 months after starting to try so everyone was expecting it the entire time.

@Adira: that is what I think I am going to be like! we aren't TTC yet, but I feel like I am pretty open with most of my girlfriends about our "expected timeline" (starting in January 2013)...but I totally want to keep it quiet once we are officially trying. Perhaps I should shut up now....lol.

@Charcole2011: haha, yes! I told ALL my girlfriends that we were going to have babies in 2012 (this was back in 2010 and 2011), and now I'm like "Oh my gosh, I hope they don't remember!!! PLEASE don't let them ask me!!!" Now I don't EVER bring it up because it's taken us longer than I thought it would and I don't want to answer the questions!

We told our parents, in case it took a while and got frustrating. I got pregnant on cycle five, and my mom got pregnant when she was on cycle six with my older brother (I was a "hey, I think I can get pregnant tonight - let's see if I'm right" in the middle of faithful birth control - so they didn't try long with me.)

My friends generally know that I want a baby "soon" but when we do start TTC I won't tell anyone. I don't like invasive questions at all. Although my mother in law already knows we are thining about TTC very soon, I don't mind bc she would never make me feel pressured or ask me invasive questions at all. And i think when we do get pregnant, I am going to try holding off on telling everyone until 12 weeks, but it'll be super hard!
