I have suspected that I am somewhat intolerant since I was a teenager.
I cannot drink milk, I know that.
I've been feeling increasingly worse after eating dairy, so actually, this week I have started to completely cut it out of my diet. I've already felt hundreds of times better.
I will miss it, but honestly, it'll be worth it to not feel like garbage all the time...plus, I just keep reminding myself that dairy really doesn't have a lot of nutritional benefit anyways, so I am essentially just cutting out junkfood.

I can eat dairy but can't drink milk as well. But I was able to drink milk when I was breastfeeding! My friend who's also lactose intolerant says she can drink milk now that's she's nursing too probably almost 7 months after weaning my lactose intolerance returned

I was lactose intolerant before I was pregnant with DS1. Since my pregnancy I have been able to drink milk and eat diary without any issues.

I'd cry if I couldn't eat cheese or ice cream. But mostly cheese. I'm already struggling with no soft/unpasteurized/blue cheeses. I feel like a little part of my soul has died. (sorry to anyone who actually is lactose intolerant, I just LURVE me some cheese!)

No, thank goodness! The only thing I can't tolerate is Coldstone ice cream.

Yes but it's not THAT bad. I can't drink large amounts of milk but I can eat cheese and most ice creams. When I was pregnant, my lactose intolerance went away, which meant copious amounts of ice cream every night for me!

I didn't realize so many people couldn't drink milk but can tolerate dairy food. I'm the same- milk will make me really sick but I can eat dairy in reasonable doses. And it definitely has gotten better during pregnancy and now breastfeeding- which is awesome bc I can have ice cream every night without gaining weight
