If I had to choose one or the other, I'm definitely liberal. But perhaps a bit of a conservative liberal when it comes to certain things.
What about you?

I'm a conservative but I am definitely a liberal conservative on some topics.

I'm a liberal, my husband is a conservative. We have a lot of things we agree on politically, but neither of us are moderates.

I'm mostly liberal with a little bit of conservative thrown in there.

Both Rob Sr. and I are very conservative. I'm really not educated in politics at all but from what he's told me and the questions I've asked, I believe I'm pretty far to that side.

I'm a Canadian Conservative (which is the equivalent of a right wing Dem or lefty Rep). Fiscally conservative but socially pretty liberal.

I'm a Libertarian because neither the Conservative nor the Liberal groups have what I want.

I'm liberal. Especially nowadays (looking at you, 2012 election "issues"), and especially regarding social issues.
persimmon / 1465 posts
Conservative but not in the US sense. Some of your social issues in the US would be the kiss of death to any politician here.

@cupcakemama: So true!
In America (and most definitely Texas) I was certainly on the liberal side of things. Here in the UK, I find I'm much more in alliance with some of the conservative party policies. It mostly comes down to social issues that are a given here, rather than being considered "left-wing".

Liberal. On a few issues, I'm slightly more conservative, but for the most part, I'm liberal to the core.

I am pretty liberal, but slightly conservative on some things. My husband is much more conservative than I am.

I'm conservative, DH is conservative. I would say we're socially more liberal though.

I'm a liberal Christian - one of those people that Santorum says doesn't exist since he thinks the two labels are contradictory. My husband's the same as me.

Fairly liberal- I like to hear what both sides have to say, but usually lean more liberal.

@mrbee: LOL! I thought for a sec, you wrote... "I'm a moderator."
I lean towards the liberal side.

I am also fiscally conservative and socially liberal.
I also love Joe Lieberman, he is my political idol.

I'm very liberal. My husband considers himself pretty moderate, but seems to only vote for Democrats...

I've always been very conservative until recently. Now, I just don't care and would go as far as to call myself a cynic. I don't think anybody in Washington has my best interests in mind or has the power to do anything to that will drastically change my day to day living. I'm sure it sounds cliche but I put my faith in the bible and know that it's truth regardless of what's taking place in Washington. That's far more comforting than the idea of any particular candidate/party being in charge. My husband's views are the same as mine.

I was pretty liberal, but the older I get, I am finding myself smack in the middle of the road.

I'm socially very liberal. When it comes to other political aspects like fiscal issues, I can be all over the map, but really I'm not educated enough about it to have a stance.

I take the stance that whatever your viewpoint, we owe it to our children to be as informed as possible on issues of politics and to exercise our civic duties to vote in every local and national election. If we were all more engaged, we'd be in a better place... and as parents, the needs of children would be a much higher local and national priority.

Well we're both definitely liberal, and I think it's only in matters of crime and its punishment/prevention that DH is any way conservative. I don't think there's much of any conservative in me at all, and I seem to be getting worse with age!
