@MrsBee: I'm the same as you. I used to think I was unlucky until I met my husband... then I started believing that I was really blessed and very, very lucky. Now that we have LO, I believe it even more!

I don't really believe in luck. I prefer to day I'm blessed.

DH and I joke I'm not lucky. In reality though, I am because I have a great husband, a daughter, a loving family and a roof over my head.

I believe you can be lucky (somebody has to win the lotto, right?!) but I don't think great spouses/partners are really the product of luck. The initial meeting might be good luck, but it's all you from there on out to make or break the relationship. I also think you make your own luck in life; generally those with the "best luck" also work the hardest and make smarter decisions.
