I had this insane thought to do letterpress valentines for my daughter's class. Mister Jacks said a big ole "NO!" to that, so I'll probably just use the printable from HB this year...
But next year, well, we'll see

He bought a box. We always have the intention of doing something creative, but Valentines always creeps up on us and then we're in the pre-made aisle at the store, lol.

We did a stamped footprint and on the inside wrote "I love you from my head to my toes! Happy Valentines Day!" DD is five months old so sent them to family.

She's not in school yet. For family I had lo finger paint in red and pink and I cut hearts out of that and tied them to cardstock with red ribbon.

I don't know if we are doing schools ones, but for family we made heart shaped cards using two heart-shaped pieces of cardstock tied together with pink ribbon. The white piece on the bottom LO drew/scribbled all over with red and pink markers, then the top piece (red) has her little feet stamped in white. And I wrote "grandma + grandpa" etc on the top piece. Came out pretty awesome if I say so myself!

We just got our shutterfly valentines in the mail today, similar to Christmas photo cards. Lo decorated envelopes this afternoon and I'm sending out to grandparents and preschool teachers. Fun, fun. I want to take Lo and DH to tea but not sure that will happen.

We are doing store bought Dora valentines this year.. It would be really cute to do hand made, but I'm glad we aren't. It has already taken ages for her to hand write every single kid's name, sign her own name, stick a sticker, and attach a pencil !

I'm making crayon hearts. I have a heart silicone pan that I'll fill with broken crayons, bake them with glitter, then stick the heart crayon onto a paper heart, and write, "you color my world". Thank you, Pinterest!
We have to bring a treat too so we're making heart shaped rice crispy treats and we'll dip them in white chocolate (or maybe add red food coloring).

@Mrs. Jacks: I am almost positive they won't turn out how I'm expecting and I'll run out to buy valentines the night before haha. The other preschool moms are really into Pinterest ideas so I feel like I have to step up my game too!

Great ideas, everyone. @HLK208: Oh that's nice. Sounds like really cool treats! I like to 'collect' slogans so I can whip em out when I need them. I went Pinteresting for Vday yesterday so my students can do a project.

I am so impressed with some of these ideas!
I bought a package of pink construction paper, some glitter and a bag of foam heart stickers from Micheal's so DD can make some valentines. I fully expect it to take 2 hours to make 3 valentines (daddy and both sets of grandparents). She shares my talent for crafts, lol!

I was so sad when I realized this year that they don't do little kids Valentines at school here. I never noticed before this year! All the Valentine stuff is for adults in romantic relationships.

Wanted to update with finished pics in case anyone needs any ideas. These were pretty easy to make; LO scribbled the bottom heart and I stamped her feet on the top (which wasn't hard, although she didn't want to play along haha)....
