I usually don't allow myself to be, but if its someone I'm really close to like my family or close friends then I am because I'm more vulnerable with them.
But I try not to be offended too easily. Especially with my faith- it'd be too easily to get offended haha!
I have seen its easier to take offense if people question your parenting choices... Being a parent makes things so personal!!

Not at all. Which I think sets me up to offend when I don't mean to. I don't think I've said anything wrong and other people do.

Yes I do. I read into things way too much. II also think that things people say online can come off a lot differently than if they were saying them to the person in person.

I try really hard to make an effort to not be easily offended but it doesn't always work. I get really offended when someone expects me to tolerate their views but has no interest in tolerating mine. I need to work on that.

I don't think so. Either that, or I've been lucky enough to have polite people around me my whole life (and that could very well be the case) so I don't have a lot of reasons to be offended.
I didn't have any wedding-related drama, and it's early days yet (I'm only 5 months), but I haven't gotten any rude comments in pregnancy either. Some curious questions, but none that I consider rude.

Not at all. I'm probably more the offender because I'm sarcastic and sometimes forget that some people take things literally. Need to work on that!

Generally, no. There are a few topics that are hot points for me, but luckily its usually just a crass comic on TV pushing those buttons, and I can turn the channel. I'm not really surrounded by people in real life that would offend me.

Yep, it's one my big faults. I've gotten a thicker skin as I've gotten older, but I definitely still take things too personally or get offended. Working on it though!

I think I am when it comes to A. I got offended if our families don't ask after her when she has hospital appointments, or when they keep saying stuff on Skype like "oooh you're hungry, putting that fist in your mouth". It feels like a slight on my parenting (she's never hungry, I feed her before we Skype) but I know it's not meant that way.

@Grace: Yep! Me too! I like to believe that I'm polite and well mannered. I also think that I am pretty good with most types of etiquette, however I can be extremely sarcastic and I don't really tolerate "hurt" feelings over things that are irrational.
I mean, I believe that all feelings are valid, but if it's over something irrational I feel like it's the persons responsibility to recognize that and not get angry with the offender. If that makes sense...

For the most part, no. I just make a mental note not to keep in touch with someone as much if they often say things that are offensive. Family is another story, but I've learned to brush most things off with them as well.

Yes and no. It surprises me how offended I get about somethings and not at others. In general I think I'm less offended as I get older.

No, not even with my family. I have family members joke about my weight or other things and it doesn't bug me at all. I never let my self get offended. In my opinion it's only your own fault if you let yourself be offended.

I think it depends on the situation. I'd say I tilt more to the easily offended side than not, but I try to make a concerted effort not to be....

Not at all. I'm very hard to offend, unless it's an obvious malicious attempt to be rude to me. When it comes to jokes and humor, I'm pretty easy going.

I try not to be, but certain things push my buttons. For example, I have a parapro in my classroom who constantly tells me how I should interact with my students. I know she's trying to help, but I just want to try things my way since it's my first year teaching. I need to learn these things on my own haha.
Other than that I think I'm pretty laid back...

It depends on the subject at hand. I am pretty touchy about my pregnancy, especially when people are criticizing or questioning my choices or make remarks about my weight.
Jokes and humor... Eh, I'm not so easily offended. Same goes for other subjects.
