Are you self conscious about your looks?

Yes! I feel so bad about myself due to my PP body

Yes and no. I have always been self conscious of my looks but less so now because I know DH loves me regardless of how much weight I gain or the lack of makeup I put on. I put the most pressure on myself, especially postpartum. I want my prep-baby body back, and I'm sure that won't happen. I'll just continue to beat myself up over it. At the same time I don't wear any makeup and usually leave the house in comfy clothes.

@Smurfette: Yep. I have to remind myself that it really is a small(ish) issue, and that if I am unhappy that I SHOULD REALLY DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!!!!! I could just kick my own b-double-O-t-y sometimes!

I think all of you guys are gorgeous (and I've seen the majority of you on IG and here, so I'm not just saying that!

Yeah. I'm mostly okay with my body even though it's by no means perfect.

I'm kinda self-concious about my weak chin and my nose in profile. I always dread seeing photos of myself in profile because of that.

@Pepper: I agree! Everyone I've seen on HB is beautiful! I think we're a lot harder on ourselves than we should be.

I know I'm not a knock-out, and I am realistic about my looks/weight, but I don't really feel self-conscious about any of it. My mom did such an awesome job emphasizing my positives growing up, that I didn't even realize I was fat until I got into high school. By then I had such a positive outlook about my personality and self worth that I didn't care. It's how I strive to parent my daughter - I want her to know that she's worthy of love and admiration because she's her (and being her is awesome)!

THAT being said, I'm still trying to adjust to my PP body. 7 months out and my belly is still all kinds of lumpy pizza dough. I'm not really a fan of that.

My hooded, downturned eyes with bags and dark circles. I know there's a bunch of makeup tricks for these things but all the products/recs just seem overwhelming.
