Some yes, some definitely not.
A lot has changed since my wedding.

Yep. This is why I only had one. I knew we were destined to be friends for life.

Yes. It was my sister and SIL.
I looked at my mom's wedding pictures before I chose and saw that she doesn't keep in touch with any of her bridesmaids. I didn't want that to be me so I picked only family.

They were my sisters, so yes I purposely kept it small, but I am also still close with the 3 friends I would have had if I'd included friends.
DH is still best friends with the 2 friends he had in the wedding (plus brothers).

Yes! I had 4 (incl. my sister). One I hardly ever see or talk to since she had her LO, but I know we'll always be able to count on each other when we really need (i.e. She just called me the other day to want to be a part of my shower planning.)

3 of them, yes. The 4th I had already started to become distant from by the time the wedding rolled around. Nothing happened, it was just an unfortunate case of circumstances changing and her having her own world and me having mine.

Yes, they were my sister, my sil, and my best friend! I kept it small for that reason!!

yes and no. One is long distance but a wonderful friend when she can be. I don't regret having her in the wedding but I wonder if we'll always be friends and that's hard to think about.

Yep! But I just got married a year ago...so it hasn't been that long!

I only had one bridesmaid and we're definitely not as close anymore. We're just in different places in our lives. Even though we both got married within a year of each other, I'm moving on to having a family and she's not, so we have less in common now than we used to. Oh well.

Yes. One of them has been my BFF for over a decade, and my MOH is engaged to DH's best friend. I don't see either of them very often because we moved, but I talk to them both a lot. The last one was my stepsister who I rarely talk to, but I rarely talked to her before. It was more of a family politics choice. If it wasn't for that I probably would have only had 2.

Yes and no. One was my cousin, but she lives about an hour away, so we only really talk on fb and see each other on the holidays. My best friend travels with her bfs job so she's kind of all over the place, but we're still in touch every now and then. The other is my sister. And sadly, I probably have the least amount of contact with her. A lot has happened in a 1 1/2 years.

Yup! One of my bm is my bff that lives in my home state, but we communicate daily!!

Yes. I had two--one, my best friend since freshman year of high school, and the other, my cousin (through marriage) that I've known literally my entire life.

Yep. My MOH is still my BFF. My BM... we have drifted a bit since I live across an ocean now but we're still friends. She came to my baby shower.

They were all relatives on either my side or DH's besides my bff. My relationships are the same, if not better with most of them.
