Nope, I'm too cheap to be "trendy"!

I am hopeless at dressing myself stylishly and accessorizing. Sometimes I'll go into a store and if there's an ensemble that I think looks really good on a mannequin, I'll buy all the pieces in my size, haha. You could try that?

My go-to store is LOFT because their petite pants are the only ones that fit me, but Limited is good for tops sometimes.

Well I'm sure you're referring to my OOTD IG posts hahaha so I would say I definitely put effort into what I wear - I love fashion and looking nice!

I shop at all the stores you mentioned. I'm sorry you're having such a hard time! I do think that we are our own worst critics though and sometimes I find myself thinking something doesn't look right but everyone else think it's adorable...

My work staple stores are BR, Loft, Ann Taylor, etc. I would focus less on trends (especially if you're looking for work clothes) and more on what is flattering on you. For instance, the only cut of BR pants that is flattering on me is their Jackson fit, but they typically only sell those online. J crew has only had skinny pants for god knows what seems like forever, so i dont reallg shop there anymore because those pants arent cute on me.
Nordstrom is a great place for work clothes too- stay out of the junior dept and you should be fine. Also, it might just be a case of buying a larger size than you were before and finding a great tailor to make things fit perfectly.

I get by. I don't consider myself trendy at all. I have trouble with shoes and if it looks okay with my outfit.

I think I'm pretty stylish for the most part or at least, I'm good at dressing my body. I've always been really interested in fashion. I just wish that I could afford to buy clothes more!

I used to be! Ha! As a SAHM I'm in yoga pants more often than I like to admit. Back in the day, it was important for my career that I looked pulled together and stylish.

Sometimes. I don't do super trendy one season trendy but I try to dress my 33 yo self somewhat trendy.

My frump days outnumber my stylish days!

I don't know about trendy, but I do make an effort to dress nicely, even as a SAHM. I try to stick to styles and silhouettes that I know will look nice on me, and I adapt trends to fit in with my current wardrobe (which I think is larger than the average bear's :-P). Banana and Gap are my go-to's for basics and easy items. I've recently been finding items I love at Loft, and Kate Spade is a bit of an addiction of mine. I've also had some good luck with the Stitch Fix subscription box. They tend to send me items I would not have thought to try myself but end up loving. Plus, if I don't love it, I can just send it back!

My go to is Loft, Express, Limited, BR for work related practical but still stylish outfits.

Today I have on a pair of silky dress floods, a loose tee top from express, some accessories (i suck in this dept), and white pumps (i don't care about the mem day for white rule)

Also, aside from stores, I think it's about correctly fitting sizing. I know it mentally hurts sometimes, but I'm a huge advocate for buying bigger and better fitting clothing, than mentally sticking to a prebaby or "skinny" size. Even throughout pregnancy I bought non maternity in larger sizes and it was more flattering than a lot of maternity work clothes

I "try" and be stylish. But sometimes I get lazy.

I like to think that I'm trendy, even though I'm cheap I'm a bargin shopper now that I'm a mother and have another mouth to feed. I like NY&Co, Kohl's, Target, I do a lot of local boutiques to find some "different" items. (my BFF owns a store, so I get my fun clothes there at wholesale cost since I help out in the store when needed)

I also get a lot of cheap staples at Forever 21, Rue 21 (plain shirts/tank tops that I build up with acccessories!)

i put almost zero effort into what i wear and usually look like a hobo. i think i could do a decent job if i put in some effort, and my favorite stores to shop at are zara, h&m, anthro, gap, old navy, jcrew, and madewell.

it is fun dressing up the kids though!
