Are you feeling well-rested these days?
Or are you exhausted beyond anything you've ever experienced before... or maybe something in between?

Aw, I hope you are not exhausted??
Yup, well rested. I get my 8 hours at night.

Haha I was seriously just thinking of posting something like this.
I have a one month old, and generally he does pretty well at night for his age, he will have one 4.5 hr stretch then another 2.5-3 hrs. And that is good enough for me at his age! But last night... He would not stay asleep. I spent three hours from 9-12am trying to get him to sleep, then he only slept in 30-60 min increments. Oh this baby! So it's 7:30am now and I think I may have gotten two hours?!
Weekends are nice because my husband will take him in the morning and I can go back to sleep. But Monday morning I'm on my own!

Exhausted. Even after a long night of sleep. I'm just so achy and uncomfortable when I sleep that it doesnt really count as quality rest

Something in between...I'm just plain old tired. I'm getting about 7 hours of sleep/night but it's broken up because of LO's night feed, which makes me tired. And if I have trouble falling back asleep after her feed, then I'm a cranky mess the next day.

Well rested? What's that!?
LO has been going through a growth spurt and having some teething pain. The last two nights have been better but I'm still exhausted. Hopefully, he goes back to sleeping through the night soon!

As long as I get 6 hours of sleep I feel rested enough to get through the day. My 11 month old still wakes up in the middle of the night for a bottle. I'm hoping he will eventually sleep through the night. Unfortunately for me I'm feeling tired today after waking up 3x last night.

Nope! The hubby and I work 7 days a week and never seem to get enough rest, and we don't even have kids yet. Yikes!!

@enjollah: I know. Every night is so different. One night he'll spoil me and I feel great, and the next, he's awake all night!

I agree...what is well rested?
At 11 months DS still does not STTN and night feeds. He doesn't nap very well during the day either. DH works an off shift so I fly mostly solo, leaving me drained most days, but we are getting there

Nope, but I am learning to deal with it. I wake up at the slightest sound and haven't slept in since December, lol.

@anbanan15: ditto here! i'm soooo tired. LO's sleep is getting better at night though! woohoo! She's 1 tomorrow!

I don't think so... I went to my mom's at lunch (it's down the street from my office) to take a quick nap because I was nauseous/exhausted!!

i don't feel well rested at all. have to take some naps throughout the day and i keep waking up multiple times a night because my belly is so uncomfy. i think my babies are making me practice for when they arrive!!

Somewhere in between. It's crazy though, LO sleeps through the night so I should be well rested.

Something in between. I'm not extremely exhausted because of lack of sleep, but more lack of hours in the day to get all the things done that I need to do. Sometimes it's hard to get even 1 uninterrupted hour of work on something done unless it's after LO's bedtime. But then, I'm up late doing projects instead of sleeping like I need to do, which sucks.

I get about 8-9 hours of sleep a night, and that usually has me feeling pretty good. But since I've been pregnant, I find that I'm still exhausted by like 9pm!

I'm getting better (after being sick for almost 1 month) its nice to see the end of the tunnel. Now if only the cold weather could leave so that it can be warm... Ill be one happy camper.
