Most of our friends are much older (10+ years). We have some friends from college/high school who are our age (obviously) but we don't see/hang out with them much since none of them live near us.

@mrbee: Our workplace (my husband still works there, and I used to). We were the youngest people in our office for a long time. Plus, we're on the young side to be married with kids (I'm 27; DH is 26), so a lot of the kids' friends' parents are quite a bit older than us (i.e. didn't have children until their early-mid 30's). And I met my BFF on WB,; we just happened to be kindred soulds with a lot in common, despite our age differences .

Most of our friends are older than us. We have a few friends from high school but, since we don't live in our hometown, we don't see them.

The majority of our friends are within 2 - 3 yrs of us (32). But we do have a few friends that just turned 40 recently... I've been friends with one of them since I was 19.

Most of my friends are within two years of me, but two of my closest friends are 44 and 66. I like having multi-generational friendships, they often have a different perspective that is really great to hear.

Most of my friends are 1-4 years younger than I am...I'm the oldest. My hubby is 3 years younger than me and I adopted all his friends so...

There's a range. A lot of them are within 5 years of me (I'm 25, so 25-30), but I do have several friends in their 40s. I expect when I have LO I will meet more women my age, because in my area women have children pretty young.

I am just about in the middle. I am 28, and I'd say my friends range in age from 25-33 or so.

My friends span the gamut from about 25-50 with no particular concentration.

They're all older. 3-5 years mostly but some 8+. They all thought I was several years older when we met

Most are our age...early 30's, late 20's, but a few are in their 40's.

Yeah, more or less. We're considered as one of the older ones though. Our kids are sort of around the same age which is nice so they generally get along when we're together.

half are between 23 and 30 and the other half are in their thirties a handful in early forties

DH is 5 years older so all his friends are older than me. But I consider them to be the same age since they are always drunk and I feel like when I see them I am taking care of everyone.
