Does anyone have either? I'm thinking of doing one in our "formal" dining area instead of a China cabinet I wouldn't have any use for. Our house is open concept so living room, formal dining room and kitchen are all open but we also have a breakfast room/area so would it make more sense to put something there? Show me yours

@chopsuey: OMG your kitchen is amazing! And I love that toaster! What is your dining room like? Do you have a china cabinet or anything like that? My wall feels empty like it needs a piece of furniture but I want something that's functional too instead of just collecting dust.

I don't have a pic right now but I just have a keurig with a glass torte bowl next to it with a mix of k-cups. When guests come I usually also set out a few boxes of tea. We have lots of variety but I don't like to leave it all out on the counter just for me because I usually just drink coffee.

I have a dining table + 8 chairs in my dining room. We have wainscoting all around, a wide entrance from the hallway and a smaller opening that leads into the butler's pantry. The wainscoting helps the room not look empty! I saw your other thread so I'll try to find a photo. I'm already upstairs in bed

@Mae: very true. I don't even make regular coffee hahahha. I make Vietnamese coffee from a little drip or if I'm rushed the instant one in a package that you just add water to hahaha

@hellobeeboston: I do. It's one of my favorite shows. She does some really good coffee bars or like little chalkboard/rustic/decor wall. I'm not the type of person that can walk into a store and find a bunch of stuff and throw it together to make it look good. I have to see a picture of it first.

@ms.jellen: We are going to put on in our IL suite we are building out in the basement. I don't like coffee, but my parents and in-laws do, so I saw a benefit putting it in the IL suite for when they visit.

@ms.jellen: How about a coffee bar that can convert into a wine/beer/liquor bar easily? multi functional?
I just decorated a large wall (15') in my living room and it is definitely difficult with large spaces. I found that larger items carried the proper weight to balance the size of the wall. My space is over our sectional couch so I went with a large rustic clock (TJ Maxx find) 3 ft and a 4 ft rustic shelf from PB with 2 oversized frames and a copper '"D" stacked/leaned on it.

In our kitchen I have a small section of counter dedicated to our fancy tea maker. The cabinet above it holds all the tea and mugs. This is our "tea station" (we don't drink coffee).

We have this little cabinet I found at Pier1 a couple years ago (Dartmouth Cabinet - i can't find it on their site anymore). Our Kuerig lives on it, We pull the little tray out to fix our coffee, the drawer holds K-cups and sugar, the cabinet has our mugs and travel mugs. This is in our breakfast nook next to the everyday table we eat at.
