My vote is no. The highs are usually low 70's around that time. Our pool opened up mid-May this year and it was still too cold for a lot of people.

I also vote no. It really varies, but it's usually not warm enough for swimming. My daughters birthday is end of April and I would never think that we would be able to swim for her party, too chilly!

I live in PHX Arizona and we don't swim until mid-May, for sure. The water doesn't heat up as quickly as the outside does.

I think it was unseasonably warm this April, but still a little too chilly for the pool imo. We didn't start outdoor swimming til June.

No, we never went swimming in April. Usually, mid-May the pool was just beginning to get warm enough.

another vote for no. most outdoor pools do not open until May. April can be chilly!
