Omg I'm seriously tearing up reading the article! This is so sad! Those are my LOs favorite! She asks for them all the time saying "Llammie yummy?" Anna was certainly a wonderful soul. How awful for the world to lose her.

She is a great author, and I'm so sad to hear that she passed. Llama Llama Red Pajama was one of the first books I bought for LO, and both kids love the llama series.

@youboots: LO is obsesssssed with Llama Llama Easter Egg. I try to read him red pajamas so he understands that mama is sometimes busy (gosh, I can hear the words in my head!) but he starts crying sometimes, lol. He hasn't really taken to jingle bells as much.

This is really sad news. I had no idea she was ill, especially with the (relatively) recent release of "Llama Llama Gran & Grandpa" and "Nelly Gnu and Daddy Too" (an all time fave in our house).

Sad to hear about an author dying of cancer so young.
I don't have any Llama llama books. Are there any board books I should get? When I look on Amazon, it says the Red PJs ones is a regular book. Board books seem to be so durable right now as they take books on and off the shelf.

We recite Nighty Night every evening as we go upstairs as part of our bedtime routine.
LO's favorite is probably Hopity Hop.
