There's a Catholic Center one block over that has a cafeteria and they serve the public as well.
Just got a whole steak hoagy, with chips, a cookie and a pure leaf drink for $6.51! Can't beat it!

There's a burger joint at the church (people call is the Jesus Burger) just a few blocks down from my work also, and you get a combo meal for about that price! They also serve chicken sandwiches.

I'm totally weird and I really like cafeteria food. As a teacher, that means I can always get a pretty decent meal for $2.75!
But of course 99.9% of the population will disagree with me.

@ineebee: I work for a hospital, and our cafeteria surprisingly has really good food! I love a yummy $3 lunch!
There is also a church/non-profit where local farmers donate produce that does plate lunches. I love eating there and its like $5.
I ordered a hoagie today, and the deli was running a buy one, get one free special. Hello, lunch for tomorrow!
