We took B last year at 13 months and he loved them!

We took D last year at 28 monyhs and h turned into a complete crazy person about an hour before they started and wouldn't sit still during. We had to get up. But I would probably still do it over again. With a baby I would be even more likely to stay out. I would just try to put Lo down at normal bedtime.

@regberadaisy: yeah my baby never would have slept through the noise and excitement. So we have not been. She might be able to stay up this year but we live in a big city so the fireworks are a huge event, not something I'm going to bring an almost 2 year old too. Maybe if there was a little show somewhere local she could handle it. I'm ok with missing it for a few more years and just celebrating the day.

E was 4 months old. DH wore her and she was entranced by the pretty colours. A year later, we took her again (16 months) and she loved them! She was pointing into the sky and saying"wow" for days!

DD1 is sensitive to sounds so we has noise reducing headphones

@regberadaisy: G was 14 months the first time and A was 11 months. They both just stared at them. Neither were scared

LO is 3 and has seen them every year starting a 2 months old. She loves them, but DHs family is a huge fireworks family, so it's not a surprise.
